WAKING UP!

Your character is in a nice, warm bed, wearing their bedclothes (or lack thereof) of choice. It's comfortable, it's fluffy, and it's great...

Unfortunately, someone's in bed with them. They might roll over and accidentally cop a feel before waking up fully, they might notice the heat on their backs, but whatever the case may be, there's someone in there with them. They could easily remember the night before, how that happened, but...

Where's the fun in that?

Ung. It is too early for this. [Angie would be all too happy to follow the advice of the cute guy--err, guys? In the bed. If it weren't for the fact that she doesn't remember going to bed with them.]

[It takes a moment of concentration for a bit of the metal in the double to peel away--it's not even noticeable, honestly--and fashion itself into restraints for Fight Club!dupe.] This is seriously weird.

[The Jamie snuggling Angie lifts his head to direct an annoyed look at the dupe looking for a fight and the one trying to keep him under control. He'd been happy a moment ago, there was someone very nice and soft and warm to cuddle that didn't seem to mind him doing that and he hadn't had to give much thought to things. He'd like to go back to that if they didn't mind.

He concentrates for a second, and both dupes stretch out like being sucked into some sort of weird vortex before disappearing back into Jamie. Then he buries his head into Angie's neck.]

Mmmft?

[Seriously. They all would have been just happy if the doubles hadn't gotten involved.]

[Angie watches the dupes disappear (except for the one getting friendly with her double), then blinks and settles a bit.] So. I'm Angie. Nice to meet you.

[Story of Jamie's life right there.]

M'drks. [The remaining dupe is obviously not interested, and Jamie himself still has his face pressed against her neck. The answer could have easily been a name or a 'leave me alone' noise.]

[Less so Angie's. But her doubles really ARE just extensions of her consciousness.]

[She gives an amused snort, snuggling back. What? It's nice. She hardly ever gets to snuggle.] M'drks. Is that Welsh? [Well, there was a decided lack of vowels...]

[Right. Mumbling into someone's neck =/= a good way to have a conversation. Jamie lifts his head blearily.]

Madrox. Jamie. [He's clearly not much of a morning person. Plus the warm bed and company? No motivation to wake up or leave.]

[identity profile] re-engineer.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 02:37 pm (UTC)(link)
[It would probably work with some people. But Angie's not an actual mind-reader. She looks over her shoulder and smiles.] Hi, Madrox.

[She settles again, yawning.] Mmm. So. Are you always this friendly with strange girls and their metallic doubles that show up in your bed?

[identity profile] carbon-copy-man.livejournal.com 2010-01-31 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[It looks like conversation is going to happen regardless, so Jamie makes an effort to wake up more.]

Morning, Angie. [Unfortunately now he's more awake, he's beginning to wonder how she got there as well. He laughs softly.] It's not something that usually happens...

[The word 'friendly' reminds him of something and Jamie jerks around to check on the other dupe and... yep. It's the one he thought it was. He's lucky Monet isn't here to follow through on her old threat to beat that part of him up. Another moment of concentration, and that dupe's gone as well.]

Sorry about that.

[Sorry, Jamie. Once Angie's awake, she generally stays that way.]

I can't say it's all that common for me, either. [She shifts, making certain she's not laying on any part of Jamie. She's a bit heavier than your average woman, after all. She does glance over and grins, a touch of her mind sending the metal double out of the room.] I'm sure there's something in the lab I could be working on. That's kind of cool, though. Yours, I mean. Though you'd think he'd prefer the warm one.
