WAKING UP!

Your character is in a nice, warm bed, wearing their bedclothes (or lack thereof) of choice. It's comfortable, it's fluffy, and it's great...

Unfortunately, someone's in bed with them. They might roll over and accidentally cop a feel before waking up fully, they might notice the heat on their backs, but whatever the case may be, there's someone in there with them. They could easily remember the night before, how that happened, but...

Where's the fun in that?

[Jamie's nose itches and he reaches a hand up to scratch before shifting onto his side so he's facing Nanoha. It's a rather abrupt shift and the bed shakes a bit as a result, but he's not conscious of the motion.]

[The movement on the bed makes her lean a bit closer to him unconsciously, her face now right against where his shoulder is resting, though her breathing is a bit more shallow now - she's not as deeply asleep as she once was]

[He's vaguely aware of the sensation of a face against his shoulder, and he reaches out with his hand and pats at the head sleepily.]

Mmnph.

[Nanoha stirs as she feels a hand on her head, mumbling a name but not opening her eyes]

Mrn... stop that, Fate...

[The hand starts to stroke Nanoha's hair, but freezes at the name. Jamie cautiously opens one eye and peers. Upon seeing that someone is sharing his bed, the other eye opens and he just stares for a long moment before oh-so-carefully lifting his hand away.]

Och.

[It's muttered quietly enough. Hopefully it won't wake her.]

[Nope. For the moment, she's still sleeping, though she frowns and murmurs something unintelligible. You're safe for now, Jamie.]

[Well, that's a relief. Now, if he can just figure out how to extract himself from the bed without waking her up... Biting on his lower lip, he starts to very very carefully inch away. If he's careful enough, and quiet enough, maybe he can slip out.]
