Tell Me Why...

Since everything in the world begs questions, and we would all love to have answers to the "Why"s...and we can't always have those answers. However, on the meatship crack-comm, we can. I thought that this meme would be stimulating for the brain and considerability of our persons.

The game is simple:

1. Post a comment of your character accepting/not-accepting-but-making-due-with being part of the meme
2. Other characters comment on the first comment with questions. Anything goes.
3. The character being questioned answers the questions. Truthfully. You're allowed to gracefully skirt around answering a particular part.
4. Enjoy.

You didn't answer the question.

[Lyle laughs.]

Oh, come on. Haven't you played Truth or Dare with your Legion? Nothing else?

[Peer pressure has appeared, do you succumb? y/n ]
withanethel: (A little out of it)

[personal profile] withanethel 2010-02-07 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
Well, what exactly do you mean by tolerance?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
...not really. The chemistry there has been known about for centuries. I don't really see any point in investigating it further.

I'm also going to interpret that question as rhetorical, since there's a number of people with no interest in tea.

...That, unfortunately, is one of those questions I cannot answer. Erm, not accurately.

::The oddity chirps, ears going down. That "analytical" expression comes onto his face. And then? Well, then comes his answer as sure as breathing. Simple as breathing and yet insanely complex. Indeed, how does one explain an act, an instinct based purely on things where words don't matter?::

Is In-side. In-stink cahll.

Truth or Dare? No, not really. ...are you saying I should ask something else?

[YYYYYYYYY]

This don't seem so bad at all.

[identity profile] indigoblueberry.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:48 am (UTC)(link)
Because I don't have many secrets, that's why.

[identity profile] trenchcoatange1.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
You wish to speak to me?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
If you like. I want things to be fair.

[And then he doesn't answer it if it's at all personal.]

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
Why do you keep bothering Wyn?

[identity profile] indigoblueberry.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
Especially considering their original ages, 16 and 14. When the hormones are at their peak.
morphitudinous: (A majestic unicorn?)

[personal profile] morphitudinous 2010-02-07 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Instinct.

Well, that explains why I didn't understand before. Instinct isn't something that can easily be explained with logic or scientific principles.

And I'm not very attuned to my instincts. I'm glad that you are.

[identity profile] bluebrassmonkey.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
Eee. ::sniffs:: Wha-t yeu thin-k yeu is? Rrr-enne go-t kew-rrree-uhs.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
And the dare part?

[Lyle's version of fair: Your mileage may vary.]
morphitudinous: (Head hurts from the absurdity)

[personal profile] morphitudinous 2010-02-07 06:50 am (UTC)(link)
You don't have use for them?

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:51 am (UTC)(link)
Was he that old? I thought he was older. Been a long time since I studied Shakespeare.

If you can call highlighting the naughty parts studying.

Yer mama dropped you, didn't she?

Any of the different forms. I.E.:

1. the acceptance of the differing views of other people, e.g. in religious or political matters, and fairness toward the people who hold these different views;

2. the act of putting up with somebody or something irritating or otherwise unpleasant;

3. the ability to put up with harsh or difficult conditions;

4. the loss of or reduction in the usual response to a drug or other agent as a result of use or exposure over a prolonged period;

5. an allowance made for something to deviate in size from a standard, or the limit within which it is allowed to deviate; or

6. the ability of an organism to survive in extreme conditions.

Take your pick.

Awww, what the hell ya want now? I'm busy.

[identity profile] smartnass.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Say it. Say it and mean it and don't tag a "but" on the end.

[identity profile] indigoblueberry.livejournal.com 2010-02-07 06:53 am (UTC)(link)
Part of it is that. Another part is that I've only been 'active' for two years. That cuts down on the secret material, wouldn't you say?
