HEADCANON MEME TIME!

I know we all have our awesome canon bits we all refer back to, but what about stuff canon doesn't touch upon, but we, the player, do? We call that "headcanon". Basically here? If there's something about your character that is either fan accepted or part of how you play a character, list it here!

I don't know if my headcanon shares anything with fanon, due to have no idea if there even is still an active fandom for BB, but I've got a loooot of headcanon for Terry. Most of it dealing with why he got involved in a gang.

There's very little stated about his gang activity in the show. There's a few references to him having a record in season 1, he shows up on a list of potential gang members in s2, and Charlie Bigelow explains how Terry wound up in juvie in s3. My theory for it is that has to do with his parent's divorce (which also doesn't get much detail in canon, so I place it when he's about 13 years old or so), which was particularly rocky. It had a bad effect on him, so he started running away from home a lot. He wound up meeting Charlie this way, who introduced him to the gang. He joined because he felt like he didn't belong anywhere, and the gang gave him a sort of family. His heart wasn't really in the violence and stealing, though, which is why he left after he went through juvie.

I've also got some headcanon for how he met Dana, but it's not really set yet. I just sort of feel like there should be an explanation for why she started dating him, when canon has shown that he's an outcast in school and that she comes from a very well-to-do family.
