The Lantern Corps Meme

I know how much you all love my pointless introduction blather, but because I am so (sprocking) tired,  I am just going to dispense with the deats and get moving so that you can too. Srsly.

Which Lantern are you?!

Rules:
1. Thoughtfully look upon the characteristics and mannerisms of your character/s, then decide whether they are a Green, Blue, Indigo, Red, Orange, Yellow, or Black Lantern. Star Sapphires count.
2. Post your result by inserting one of the Lantern icons below into your comment with a reason as to why they are that Lantern.
3. Others comment on the first comment with suggestions, comments, hints...whatev.
*4.* Extra Credit. Name a shy character who isn't doing the meme and name his/her ring.

Heeey, I was planning on posting something like this eventually. You beat me to it!

Okay, for Terry, I have no idea. Red would fit him well during the first season of the show, when he was motivated mostly by anger over his father's death. But he sort of grew out of that, so... I don't know what would fit him post-RotJ.

Suggestions?

...Well, you could make arguments for either green or yellow. I don't think that he actually pulls as much fear as Bruce did in his heyday, but he was still just starting off in the show.

But the ability to face some of what he has, including a rogue Superman, without breaking down definitely shows that he's capable of overcoming fear. So, my vote is green.

Haha, great point about Superman. It can also apply pretty well to his fight with the Joker, since he was pretty much the only person that was willing to fight Tim, and even trapped himself in the warehouse with him as the satellite came straight towards them, because he wasn't about to let the Joker walk away.

Although, really, he beat the Joker by being a huge jerk, with his condescending little speech about how the Joker is pathetic. Is there a ring that just has to do with being an asshole? That really is one of Terry's defining features, after all XD

I would say Compassion (Indigo) is one of the most defining aspects of any Batman, so it'd work for either Terry or Bruce... but for Terry specifically, he has a love (I know, girly Violet) for what he does, and people he loves that drive him to keep being Batman, which is more unique to him.

But this is including the ending ep of JLU in my beliefs. However Terry's family and friends, and his love for them, seem to be a bigger motivator for his activities compared to other bats.

(Granted, I've not seen Beyond in a LONG time, so my words should be taken with a grain of salt.)

Ooooh, I hadn't even thought of that! You're right, a lot of his motivation does come from his love for his family and wanting to protect them (or avenge, in the case of his dad). And in the way I personally write him, I do tend to include his love for Gotham itself in his motivations. Yeah, I could sorta see that.

Yeah, the key differences between Bruce and Terry are:
1. Terry likes quips and snark.
2. Terry enjoys himself. Well, shows it better, isn't in denial about the fun.
3. Bruce generally is shown picking the mission over loved ones, Terry doesn't do that.

Again, it has been a while. *ponders looking for Beyond eps to watch online*

That's pretty much right on all accounts. And definitely right about Terry having more fun with himself and the job.

Also, check your PMs.

Hee! When it comes to BB, I am allll about spreading the love. Because I'm shameless about wanting DCAU canonmates even though the DC characters already outnumber most of the other canons I love the show.
