3) Write a short drabble of your character inspired by the prompts you get.
4) LEAVE PROMPTS FOR EVERYONE ELSE. Enjoy the drabbles.

She closed her eyes for a while, drifting between the hum and the heat of the engine, the soothing smell and bitter taste of the tea. Breathe deep, let it go. On the bright side, she'd never have to worry about following behind Mr. Fancy-Pants Doctor her whole life, right? On the bright side, she could do what she wanted, and stay with her engines. On the bright side...she would be fine, eventually. She would be. It would just take a bit of time, some good tea, and, judging by the familiar knock of Mal on the engine room door, some reliable and familiar company.

"Don't matter if you got the brains for it," Kaylee was lecturing from behind the motorcycle. "You can have all the booksmarts in the 'verse, but if you don't got the hands-on, the feel of the thing? Might as well just be recitin' poetry."
Spock, peaceful as ever (even after listening to her rantings for the past half hour) simply tilted his head to get a better look at the other side of the motorcycle. "Yes, but that does not explain why you have neglected to create a checklist for yourself, Miss Frye. Logic states that having such a list would prevent mistakes in maintenance."
There was a sigh from the mechanic, and she shifted to peek up over the motorcycle at the Vulcan. "You're not gettin' me. If you know your machines well enough, really know 'em, you don't gotta worry so much about checklists 'n manuals. She'll tell you what's wrong, if there's somethin'. Otherwise, it's just your job to make sure she's runnin' smooth. I seen plenty of people who got their fancy lists, and they still manage to miss somethin' cuz they don't know their project in the least. Those lists don't always got everythin' to 'em, and they don't always explain every little trouble. You just have to be one with the machine, love her and she'll love you back."
