(no subject)

Because I know I'm not the only one whose thought of this.

It's the....

Ten Years Later RP Meme!

To put it simply, how do you think your character will have developed over ten years on the Good Meatship Stacy?

And playing them like it's ten years later.

"All the more reason for me to stay put." Really he didn't have much to complain about. He was still helping to save people. He had students to train, and he could visit anywhere in the universe using the Sensoriums. After ten years the crew had become very important to him. Yet, Jan had never awoken. In ten years of pods popping she'd never shown. One complaint, but what was that amongst all the other things in his life?

A whole kriffing lot that's what.

Arha was silent for awhile, frowning gently before wrapping her arms around him. There were things she could not help and things she could not make better. Such was this thing. It was not hard to see where his thoughts fell.

"Many reasons," she said, leaning into him. "Many reasons to stay. These are reasons for myself, too."

Don't live in the past. His own words reminding him to pay attention to where, and when he was. "Thank you. Sometimes I do let it get the better of me. Even when I shouldn't"

"You would not be yourself if you did not have such moments," she said, her eyebrows arched. The act pulled at the scarring that wound its way down the side of her face. "I think," Arha said quietly, "that most of us do have them. Such are things we are allowed. They balance us between madness and sanity, all of them."

She rested the point of her chin against his shoulder.

"I had hoped, this last pod pop, that there was to be a smile for you. I had hoped this." Arha had the same hope for him every pop without fail. No one from her own planet, either, had come. No one from her Universe. "But, they sleep still."
