Because I know I'm not the only one whose thought of this.
It's the....
Ten Years Later RP Meme!
To put it simply, how do you think your character will have developed over ten years on the Good Meatship Stacy?
And playing them like it's ten years later.

KAYLEE FRYE IS DEAD. Come on she's a Whedon character we all expected it.And since Shaela's a wimp and couldn't take it...
Kaylee is very much not dead, and still smiling as cheerful as ever. She hasn't escaped without scars, though. Engineering mishaps, stray bullets, she definitely hasn't gotten any better at keeping herself out of trouble. At the age of 30, she really hasn't changed much. About the only sign of her aging is around her eyes--little crows feet growing deeper, spreading further. When she's not working down in Engineering--senior staff now, check that out 8)--she's either working more in the ship bay, or giving friendship and nice warm smiles to everyone on board. Ain't a power in the 'verse can stop Kaylee from being cheerful, after all.

And speaking of little sister, Kang has gone down to Engineering to say hi to her.

Good thing it's a slow day today, she can say hi back.

He grins, coming up behind her and peering down at what she's working on, "You're still stopping by the tavern later tonight, right? The kids'll be disappointed if you don't."

It's just tinkering at this point--nothing real exciting. "Should be, yeah. Unless there's some unforeseeable emergency on its way. Think I still owe 'em a play date, don't I?" She laughs, and lays the screwdriver down on the table.
