To put it simply, how do you think your character will have developed over ten years on the Good Meatship Stacy?

And playing them like it's ten years later.

"Well I think they're father's training might just have a little bit to do with it." Kyle said as he pulled up a stool at the bar. He had to admit he was just a little jealous of Kang. "So anything new at the bar? Not that I mind the cactus juice."

"I've helped," Fonrar pointed out, poking him with a claw. "He's just got decades more experience on me."

The younglings paired off to continue roughhousing, giving the adults a chance to talk. Nodding, Kang stood up and joined his mate, standing just close enough to her so that their wings touched, "Actually, that last planet we were on, I found some reasonably priced beer and picked up a few kegs."

"Really?" he asked clearly excited. He may have grown accustomed to life on Stacy, but that didn't mean he'd given up hope of the occasional bit of comfort. "Well I'd certainly like some please. I'll have to tell Tycho, and bring him down here before it runs out."

Kang grinned and disappeared into the back, returning with a tankard and handing it to Kyle, "They called it Syradian Sunset, if I remember right. I made sure to grab the recipe and a few seeds of the wheat for hydroponics."

"Only after I reminded you," Fon teased, punching him in the shoulder.

Kyle laughed at Fon's comment before taking a sip. It went down smooth, and with just a pleasant hint of bitterness. He hadn't had anything this good in a while. "This is fantastic. You got the recipe you say? If you need any help with that just let me know. I'm going to have to order a keg of this for the next squadron party."

"I would have remembered!" Kang answered almost indignantly, but with fondness.

"Uh huh. Five minutes after we left?"

"You don't have any faith in your mate?"

She snorted, "I know how forgetful you can be sometimes, idiot."

Kang shrugged one shoulder in defeat and leaned back on the bar. "I just sell it. Brewing is someone else's job."
