Then I'm not quite sure what you meant. Perhaps you could elaborate?

.....I'm getting the feeling this would be easier if I just researched the term myself. I'm assuming it's slang from your time period?

....ah. I see.

Though I don't think that was their intended purpose. Or that you would even be able to do anything like that with them without some modifications. Not that the modifications would be difficult for someone of my skills, if you did wish for them.

As was I. For the most part anyway. Cardboard would simply be too difficult to modify like that; you'd need to start the project over from scratch. Then there's the complexity of personalities to consider...

Why the interest in robots anyway?

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
Not every robot is shiny or cute though. Many are designed purely for function. Unless you're including cybernetic life forms such as myself? But I am neither shiny nor cute. Despite what Supergirl and Superman said.

I was merely using it as an example. I don't really fall into either category, yet you don't dislike me.

...at least I assume so.

I am the only one of my kind like me, ye-

Oh. You meant a different definition. I... suppose so. I hadn't really considered it in great detail.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 06:17 am (UTC)(link)
Of course I do. The Legion has a great many female members after all.

But I'm not sure what that has to do with things.

She's asking if you speak to them in the context of courtship.

I don't know if the humans in your universe are just as bad, but in my own they're highly fixated on mating and all associated practices.

[identity profile] brainy-bot.livejournal.com 2009-06-07 07:55 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, I see. In that case, no I don't. It's not exactly a subject that I've thought about really.

And I have to agree with you there. Many Legionnaires have shown a certain interest in each other which more often than not causes problems on missions.
