TRAPPED IN AN ELEVATOR meme!

The Trapped in an Elevator Meme

Your character steps into an elevator for... whatever reason, up to and including "meme magic, okay?". Someone steps in with him or her and the door closes. It creaks up a few floors-- and then it stops. The emergency button shocks anyone who touches it.

Well, crap.

Rules
» Make a thread with your character in the trapped elevator. (Assume someone is already in there with them.)
» Another player joins them! And now you know who you're trapped with.
» ???
» Profit! Awkwardness!

He smirked at that, not that rattled, "Just love keeping your kind on its borrowed toes. A little Hunter humor."

"That would have made more sense if I hadn't been on the ship for such a long time," Alessa replied. "In fact, for some reason, I remembers someone very annoying telling me not to do anything with you and your brother Sam. Like I would restrict myself to a few people."

There was more rattling of the elevator and flickering lights.

Dean glanced around, and was secretly reached for his gun, only it wasn't there. Damn, should have some iron and salt on him at least. And yes, holy water. He sneakily readied some.

"They had a good reason to warn you about us."

He then flipped off the cap of the container and made to throw some of the liquid at her. Maybe he could still rustle up a devil's trap as well.

Please. Alessa made a derisive snort. I am not wasting my time trying to intimidate humans like you. And you can put that nonsense away, its largely ineffective to a demon like me.

Largely, not impossible, but Alessa felt no need to tell him that.

"And who is they? Are people talking about me? How typical: I haven't laid a finger on you filth, and I'm still being accused of things. It reminds me why I prefer to talk to children."

She continue to allow the lights to flicker, hoping she could possible open the door from the outside.

"I don't trust demons." You start doing that, and it leads to all kinds of problems. Certainly did for Sam with Ruby. Bitch was double crossing them all along.

Dean frowned, but put the container of holy water away for the time being.

"And whoever was warning you away from my brother and me. That they. They're right."

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
"Nor should you," Alessa said. Really, what kind of person, who actually KNEW what demons were, trusted them right off the bat? Well, Sasami, but that girl was different. She would make sure she knew how to protect herself when the time came. "Doing so without thinking about the consequences is just asking for trouble."

Alessa chuckled. "That's one way to look at it. Another would be this: I may not have cared about you or your brother, so having someone call attention to the both of you makes one curious then, doesn't it?"

[identity profile] notadamnangel.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
"I know what the consequences are, and know what you demons are like."

Dean frowned more at that, "You better get un-curious then. My brother and I aren't that important." She better stay the hell away from Sam especially.

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 02:56 am (UTC)(link)
"You know nothing about me," Alessa said, rolling her eyes, "and I'll be curious about whatever I please. No human is going to dictate my actions."

Really, what did people think demons DO when they'd been transported from their world to a ship? Apparently the notion was to cause trouble and wreck havoc, completely illogical when there were supposedly darker forces to face.

"You people are an ego trip waiting to happen: you seem to want to be a hero at a moments notice. You can be assured I have little to no interest in the things you do. I was merely making a comment that if you care so much about staying under radar, having someone warn me to stay away from you is a red flag."

[identity profile] notadamnangel.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
"You're a demon, that's all I need to know." Dean scowled back.

He scoffed, and glanced away, "I'm no hero. I just do my job and do it well."

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
"Then you know very little," Alessa replied, shrugging her shoulders. "But you're a human, so that reply is something I could use toward you."

She matched the scoff. "Your job? Is getting stuck in elevators part of that?"

[identity profile] notadamnangel.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
"I hunt," Dean smirked, watching her closely the way a predator watches its prey.

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
"I haunt," Alessa said, returning the look Dean gave her. "Do you have a reason to quarrel with me?"

[identity profile] notadamnangel.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Only that you're one of the things I hunt. As long you be a good little demon and not hurt anybody on the ship, I'm fine. The very second you cross that line? I'm exorcising your ass."

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
The lights flickered again, and Alessa closed her eyes, her hands trembling a little. When she opened them again, she turned to dean.

"If I were you," she said slowly, "I would put that bravado of yours away, before you get hurt. I'm not adverse to haunting people who go out of their way to try to intimidate me. I am a demon, and if you want to try condescending to me, I suggest you get a lot more than a bag of tricks to make you feel safe. If I step out of line, they won't do you a lick of good where I'm sending you."

She said it softly enough, but there was no mistaking the malice in it. Alessa had found the continued threats against her by crew members humorous, but now she was starting to get more and more agitated. The longer she was here, the less she felt connected to any of the people on the ship, if not downright hostile toward them.

He got a chill down his spine at that, but he barked back, "Already been there. Got the freaking t-shirt and everything."

Dammit, he should have said to hell with it, and set up the damn trap anyway. He's tangled with high end demons before. On earth and in hell. And she wasn't nearly as scary as Alistair was.

[identity profile] demon-alessa.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 04:01 am (UTC)(link)
"I was not aware something like that happened there," Alessa said, who was not speaking about hell but Silent Hill. Well, there were some similarities, she supposed.

She already was tired of this exchange though: every time she met up with some adult human, they tried giving her warning about her attacking the crew and what they would do to her. So much for being tolerant of fellow members of the ship.

"If you're done with the idle threats, you may want to come up with an idea to get us out," Alessa said. "I don't know what is being used to keep us here, but it is beyond my comprehension."

[identity profile] notadamnangel.livejournal.com 2010-07-11 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
"They're only idle since you're behaving. We wouldn't even be talking if you weren't."

Sorry Alessa, he was a natural born hunter, and grew up hating demons. His brother was a bit more tolerant depending on the demon.

He pointed up, "Best bet's that panel in the ceiling. We're between floors so forcing the doors open won't do squat."

"Hmph," was all Alessa replied. She was already done with this kind of conversation. She had no wish to be dragged further into a battle of who was stringer than who. It was pointless.

"Fine," Alessa said, and a moment later her rising tentacles propel her to the panel, where she is beginning to make quick work of cutting the metal to shreds.
