The Trapped in an Elevator Meme




Your character steps into an elevator for... whatever reason, up to and including "meme magic, okay?". Someone steps in with him or her and the door closes. It creaks up a few floors-- and then it stops. The emergency button shocks anyone who touches it.

[ She's doing alright at keeping calm, actually. Better than she expected she would. It's not like they haven't had similar problems on Serenity, right? ]

Got an idea. Ain't much of one, but...keep an eye on the ceilin', tell me if you see it. [ And she moves away. All of three seconds later, there's a small spark from the control panel, but it's enough to light the elevator for a split second. ]

I see it.

*He reached up to slap it, noting the different sound from the surrounding ceiling.*

[ And she sucks on her slightly singed finger, staring up in the direction of the ceiling and not seeing anything but dark. She heard that sound, though. ]
