[Jamie opens his mouth, closes it again, then folds his arms against his chest while he tries not to look too cranky. Can't he just be done with this?] Oh? How was it not a kiss, then?

[Billy moves to stand near Jamie's shoulder, frowning.]

It was. He's suffered enough.

[Please don't make this an order, Kaylee. Why can't they just hug?]

[He does understand the rest of it well enough, however.] Aye, well. I suppose maybe some people might not think it counted.

[After a moment's consideration, he turns back to Billy, shrugs, and kisses his other cheek. It's not lingering by any stretch of the imagination but he does make sure it lasts long enough to "count".]

[What? For a moment, Billy gives Kaylee an absolutely horrified look. ]

I sincerely hope that you're not suggesting we---

[He falls silent and politely holds his breath while Jamie kisses him again. Once he's done, Billy tries to fight back a frustrated blush and huffs.]

'Course we did. Wouldn't say we went full circle if we hadn't--

[ She raises an eyebrow--KAYLEE SEES WHAT YOU'RE DOING, MR. MCCRIMMON. And she just sort of fidgets when he asks Billy, because there's something else coming and she knows it. ]

[thoughtfully] Aye, well, it seems to me that if Billy kissed ye, and I kissed ye, ye haven't actually kissed either of us. So I'm not so sure it's full circle...

[There's something impish in his eyes - it's not that he's being bold here, so much, but that he has seen this as a ripe opportunity for teasing.]

[Billy's eyebrows rise as he considers this, glancing back and forth between them. Soon enough, the teasing note enters his voice too.]

A full circle would require that I kiss you as well, Jamie, but you're right.

[Hoping that this successfully spurs her on, Billy makes apologetic eyes at Jamie and lightly kisses his cheek. Please make this up to him, Kaylee, he prays.]

[ What. What. She just stares at Jamie for a moment, not sure whether to make a move or not. But then Billy steps up, and she can't help but laugh. ]

Alright, fine, fair's fair.

[ She steps closer to Billy, hand on his cheek to pull him closer and kiss him proper-like. It's friendly and simple, because poor Billy doesn't need to be any more flustered than he already has been today. Even so, she even manages a ruffling of his hair as she pulls away.

Jamie gets a proper kiss too (though she fully considered taunting and teasing her way through a cheek-kiss for him), not quite so innocent as the one Billy got because, hey, it's Jamie's fault in the first place. Once it's over, she rocks back on her heels, and grins at both of them. ]

Done and done.

[Well, that wasn't -quite- what Jamie had in mind. He had just been focused on the teasing Kaylee part, and it hadn't even occurred to him that Billy would have to participate as well.]

[He's surprised long enough that it carries over well into Kaylee's kiss and...okay, he may have stopped thinking altogether right about then and just enjoys the moment. He still somehow manages a cheeky grin afterwards.]

That's better.

[Wow, she went for it! Billy rests a hand on her shoulder and adds some very light pressure to their short and sweet kiss. No girl wants to kiss an unresponsive fish, after all. Well...maybe some would, but he doesn't think Kaylee is one of them. He gives Jamie and Kaylee some privacy for their kiss, smiling and enjoying the pleasant tingle on his lips. This time, the blush is almost entirely from pleasure, not embarrassment.]

And with that, we're clear. Is everyone satisfied?

[You two had better be! Billy sacrificed his own wishes and Jamie's comfort to arrange this. A kiss for himself was just a small bonus.]

[ Kaylee is most definitely not one of those girls, and enjoys the effort put into the kiss on Billy's part. Nothing like something to work off of, to be sure. And Jamie...well, Jamie is Jamie, and the grin after any part of him getting his way is to be expected. ]

I'm satisfied, but 'M not really the one to be askin' on that last bit. [ A nod toward Jamie ] Best to ask Mr. Kiss Expert over here.

Hey! [Jamie pulls a face, looking rather disgruntled at the nickname.] Mr. Kiss Expert. Hrmp.

[And even though he's most certainly satisfied - quite pleased, as a matter of fact - he can't stop himself from downplaying his reaction. Please feel free to smack him for it, if you like.]

[Excuse Billy while he tries not to laugh at Mr. Kiss Expert. He restrains himself by smiling and gripping a shoulder.]
