Hot or Not?

the HOT OR NOT meme

This is a very straightforward meme.

Step one: Post as your character.
Step two: Other characters will rate yours from one (not hot) to ten (really hot).
Step three: Rate the characters who rated you.
Step four: My inbox dies! Funtiems!

I can't see how that actually could happen. Electricity usually kills you, doesn't it?

There are certain cases where it doesn't.

But the book is fiction.

Oh, okay!

Why does it interest you so much?

[identity profile] crysteel-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 03:49 am (UTC)(link)
Victor Frankenstein, the main character, is essentially trying to play god. It is interesting, though somewhat morbid, to read his downfall.

God huh. Which one?

Or, do you mean just a being with powers to bring others back to life?

[identity profile] crysteel-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
I think it is the Almighty Creator of sorts.

And Victor Frankenstein is trying to rise to that level of power. It relates with Christian faith and philosophy and the human hearts versus the human brain.

Oh, the BIG one. Well that's just silly. Anyone who thinks they;re that good are going to have a pretty bad surprise.

Sounds like a misguided firebender to me. Like Zhao.

[identity profile] crysteel-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 04:27 am (UTC)(link)
Also go through many trials of pain and anxiety.

Zhao must be a very contorted person to be compared to Victor Frankenstein.

Oh yeah...or just gets what he wants whenever he wants.

He tried to destroy the moon. He's pretty contorted.

[identity profile] crysteel-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 04:38 am (UTC)(link)
Well actually Victor Frankenstein creates this creature and instead of loving and caring for what he creates with his own hands, he abhors it.

And it leads to his eminent downfall.

Destroy the moon? That is not contorted. That is out of sprocking mind insane.

'Why would you hate something you created? That's like hating your own child. I don't understand that at all.

You're telling ME?! He almost did it!

He only saw failure, and it clouded his view completely, causing him to reject his creation. It is quite heartbreaking on the creature's side.

I could see that, the poor thing.

What happens next?

[identity profile] crysteel-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-16 06:02 am (UTC)(link)
The creature leaves, rejected and hurt, but later comes back to talk to Victor Frankenstein and ask him something.

Hmm. Maybe I can read this after you? It sounds interesting!

I would be happy to lend it to you.
