Song drabble meme!
It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!
( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.
( 04 ) Write a drabble related to that song, using that/those character(s)!
HERE'S THE CATCH:
You only have the length of the song to write a drabble!
(Or, you could, you know. Just put the song on repeat until you hit a stopping point. Who's gonna know?)

Here's a handy HTML box, if you so desire!

Remy Zero - Save Me
Spider-Man was the first to drop down from the Quinjet, the first to bound to his side.
"Help--h-help, gckt--" It was hard to talk when all your body wanted to do is was cough up blood.
"Beetle!" No, there was no point in pretending, no one was nearby to listen. "Jaime, we're here." There's a choked sound in Spider-Man's voice that scared him, that let Jaime Reyes just know how bad it really was. After all, Spider-Man always had a laugh in his voice.
But then, Jaime already knew.
After all, his left arm was over there.
He was over here.
"He's down," Jaime choked. "Doomsday. Got 'em. Got 'em down. But I don't think I'm gonna--gcckt--need you to tell my parents--"
"I'm not telling them a thing, because you're telling them yourself, you got that? And you did good, kiddo. Real good," Spidey said, waving over Reed, who was running over a hover-stretcher with Ben and Sue. "But next time you get into a fight like this, why don't you save some bruises for the rest of us? Spread 'em around a bit."
Jaime smiled a bloody smile, as the others started to load him into the stretcher. "You should--see--the other--guy."
"That's the spirit, bugbutt," said Peter, stepping back and giving Reed room to work. As he stood there, he looked on the facility where Doomsday had been taken down, now nearly utterly destroyed, as well as the swatch of destruction the monster had made through the town nearby.
The rest of the Defenders had been called away to assist the Avengers with a snorefest diplomatic meeting in space. It had seemed fishy to him, the sudden spirit of cooperation, and he'd voiced those concerns to the others, but ultimately, they'd decided to go.
Then this happened? After Osborn found out Beetle was possibly hiding Tony Stark, Doomsday "escaped" his HAMMER transport as it passed El Paso while the rest of the Defenders were gone?
Osborn... I know you're behind this. And I'll make sure you pay for it along with everything else.
