Song drabble meme!

the song drabble meme

It's pretty simple and fun, folks. This is how this works!
( 01 ) Have a playlist ready! Don't use all your songs--try and narrow it down a little.
( 02 ) Let everyone know how many songs you're working with. Also, which characters you would be willing to write about.
( 03 ) Others tag your post, picking a character or pairing or friendship or familial relationship or whatever, and then choose a number from your list.
( 04 ) Write a drabble related to that song, using that/those character(s)!

HERE'S THE CATCH:
You only have the length of the song to write a drabble!
(Or, you could, you know.  Just put the song on repeat until you hit a stopping point.  Who's gonna know?)

Here's a handy HTML box, if you so desire!

I'm voting Rein and Alessa, believe it or not, to AVOID awkwardness if it were the other two!

Seven Days in Sunny June (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU1ia9GKW_c&feature=related)

In Alessa's defense, she had simply NOT liked vacations that involved lots if sun and supposed sun. So even in a straw hat, sundress and sandals, Alessa had been sulking by herself, grumpy as ever. In comparison, Reinforce was the picture of cheeriness, having spotted Alessa and trying to get her to play with her on the beach. They were in the midst of arranging pebbles in the sand to form spirals and patterns when Alessa spotted the restaurant near the wharf of the beach. Grinning, she dragged Rein from their spot and pointed.

They were doomed to go, after all. Rein could not resist having food.

Intimidating the waiter, Alessa had ordered wine for them, not foreseeing that alien wine would be vastly different from regular wine. Even with a full stomach (Alessa thought she could eat seafood for days and Rein agreed) the two of them had lurched from their spots on the wharf, red cheeked and giggling at each other. Alessa, after a few tries (and a near miss in the ocean) teleported them to a hotel.

"You take a bath," Alessa said, after the two rock paper scissored over the idea. "I'll get next."

"Okay desu!" Rein said cheerfully. a half hour later, when there was no reply, Alessa had meandered over to the bathroom and peeked in. There was Reinforce, face first in the bath, floating. Alessa sighed and tried to rouse the girl from her sleep, knowing full well she wasn't dead (despite being more than a little inebriated).

"Rein, wake up. Rein-"

And the girl's hand suddenly came to life, taking Alessa by the shoulder and flinging her into the bath with her. Reinforce was stronger than she looked, and Alessa was off guard. She fell with a splash, sputtering and looking scandalized.

"Hey!"

"I was waiting for you!" Rein said cheerfully, and without warning, started to pull at Alessa's clothing. "You can't stay in the bath unless you're naked, desu!"

"Ah, all right," Alessa muttered, an a moment later all of her clothes were gone and she was soaping Reinforce's back. "I don't do this where I'm from, you know."

Alessa was acting WAY too nice and much less stick in the mud when she was drunk: that must have been why she suddenly wrapped her hands around Reinforce's waist and nipped at her ear. Rein let out a startled gasp.

"I have more wine," Alessa said, producing a bottle. "Why not make a full night of it?"

Rein giggled lightly, tracing Alessa's nose with her hand. "Let's get it on then, Desu."

Which was why, several hours later, Alessa woke up to the sound of an alarm going off, entangled in the smaller girl's limbs. She would have freaked out but Alessa NEVER freaked out.

What she did do was groan. Demons may not have been affected by human hangovers, but alien ones were different, and much more potent.

"Can you move?" Rein's voice startled her.

"No," Alessa replied. "Not even me."

"Good," Rein said, grinning. "This is nice."

And it was: if the sun wasn't streaming in all around them, making Alessa grumble.

"Stupid sunny days..."
