Tell confessa-a-bear

Here's how we do it.

1. Make a post for each character confessing something. It could be ceiling-cat, inner angst, a secret love, or hey, maybe you just want to list all the things that the character feels are so pent up inside him just bursting to get out. Weight of the world on his shoulders?
2. People reply to those posts with reactions to the confessions. It can be "what were you smoking when you did that" or "uhwhat?" or even "nice job, buddy!"
3. Forced honesty, uh-yep.
4. Bonus! Make as many confessions as you'd like!
5. Profit!

It's an idle wish. I'd never purposefully try to imitate her emotionless state.

I... simply envy the ease of it. To be ruled entirely by intellect, without feeling, seems...simpler.

[SLAP!]

Do you hear yourself talking?

[identity profile] cabbage-butt.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
Ah yes, physical violence. Surely that will change my mind.

[identity profile] foreseen-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
Oh good. You've stopped the woe-as-me crap.

Do you really think being emotionless would make life easier for you?

[identity profile] cabbage-butt.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:29 am (UTC)(link)
By default, I wouldn't particularly care, would I.

[identity profile] foreseen-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
And that is where you are a grade-A moron.

...not to mention, where Querl trumps you in.

[identity profile] cabbage-butt.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:34 am (UTC)(link)
Because your version of me is a stellar example of emotional balance.

[identity profile] foreseen-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, and you are just the peachiest little moonbeam of an example, either.

What makes Querl a better example is that he deals. He handles things. Someone yells at him or doesn't like the way he does things...do you think he mopes about it?

[identity profile] cabbage-butt.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:42 am (UTC)(link)
And in his free time he chops the arms off of team-mates. Yes, such a sterling example of balance.

I am more than capable of dealing with my emotions. I am highly functional. I am also considerably more benevolent in my treatment of others than the Querl you know.

Where I err is in being unable to thrive. I am unable to live instead of simply function.

This is why I fantasize about scenarios where the lack of that ability doesn't matter--and they are simply fantasties. The reality is that I must struggle, and learn, and adjust, and eventually someday, perhaps I will manage it, perhaps I will find myself simply enjoying my life.

Only if you're finished comparing me to your maladjusted husband.

[identity profile] foreseen-future.livejournal.com 2010-07-28 05:53 am (UTC)(link)
Yep. You're a Brainiac 5. Same snarky tongue.
