Tell confessa-a-bear

Here's how we do it.

1. Make a post for each character confessing something. It could be ceiling-cat, inner angst, a secret love, or hey, maybe you just want to list all the things that the character feels are so pent up inside him just bursting to get out. Weight of the world on his shoulders?
2. People reply to those posts with reactions to the confessions. It can be "what were you smoking when you did that" or "uhwhat?" or even "nice job, buddy!"
3. Forced honesty, uh-yep.
4. Bonus! Make as many confessions as you'd like!
5. Profit!

In my eyes, going around killing people because they're ugly is proof its not adults who are good, but the actions they take.

Actions or not, it is the intent that is important, and there is not an adult alive who has a pure intent.

You are proof of that, but not all adult are like you. I know plenty of good adults.

[identity profile] sanguineroyal.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 12:53 am (UTC)(link)
I guarantee you that their intents are not nearly as pure as they seem. All adults are self-serving and just trying to crush down those around them. You must learn to do so first.

I don't believe that. If I did, I would never trust any adults, and some of them have shown themselves to be admirable and good.

[identity profile] sanguineroyal.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
That is why I do not trust any adults.

I don't see how that excuses you killing people because you think they're ugly.

It just sounds like an excuse to kill.

Perhaps it is. I am an adult after all. I am incapable of pure motives.

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
What was your motive? I still don't get why you did it.

[identity profile] sanguineroyal.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
My intended motive is to make my country a better place, but it is not like I did not enjoy the killing. The person may not always be conscious of their underlying motive, but there is no pure motive.

Well that just bothers me.

I wouldn't enjoy killing anyone, no matter how "evil" they are. You sound like you enjoyed it.

[identity profile] sanguineroyal.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
There's something about seeing their life leave them... It reminds me that I am alive. That I exist.

And the blood is absolutely beautiful. The fire is too. Dangerous, but so very beautiful.

[identity profile] kaya-waterwave.livejournal.com 2010-07-29 05:59 am (UTC)(link)
And what about the ones that die? You talk about children and how precious they are, but when you kill, their lives and their families are torn apart. You kill them and it makes you feel alive, but what about what it does to them?

You say that adults are justified in this because they are adults. But I say that you don't become an adult and become magically evil: it happens when you're young, sometimes because of an adult and sometimes not. Finding someone's suffering as beautiful is no better than considering them just toys to amuse you, and so you don;t have to feel bad, you say its because you are evil anyway.

It sounds like an excuse, not a reason.
