Here's how we do it.

1. Make a post for each character confessing something. It could be ceiling-cat, inner angst, a secret love, or hey, maybe you just want to list all the things that the character feels are so pent up inside him just bursting to get out. Weight of the world on his shoulders?
2. People reply to those posts with reactions to the confessions. It can be "what were you smoking when you did that" or "uhwhat?" or even "nice job, buddy!"
3. Forced honesty, uh-yep.
4. Bonus! Make as many confessions as you'd like!
5. Profit!

I miss my father and grandmother so much that I cry at night every once and awhile.

I was once deceased, Katara.

While I was deceased, I had not passed on to the Beyond. I ascended to the Spirit Place, where I was allowed to roam as I pleased...and interact with my teammates in the Mundane World through their dreams. Sleep is the only time your mind will become as close to the Spirit Plane as possible.

In other words, I became a literal Dream Girl.

Later on, I was so attached to someone I loved that his mind was able to house me for brief periods of time. During a period of housing, he placed my spirit - or, data, as he put it - within a clone of my body.

And I was returned to the Mundane World.

I believe my re-entrance into the Mundane World was one of those special cases.
