The CR (Character Relationships) Meme

It's been a while since we've really done a meme with a purpose, and longer since we've done a CR meme - and now that we have a bunch of fresh new characters, time to find out what everyone thinks of you!

There's nothing fancy here - no fancy HTML - just pure bare-bones simplicity:

Nanoha is Fate's best friend, loving girlfriend, and one of the most important things in her life. Fate's love for her really can't be put into words, so she just lets her emotions show through her actions; even when they're not being lovey-dovey, it's easy to see the affection Fate has for the other girl.

Fate's a little scared because, after the mess with the Nightmare King, she realizes that she's more than a little dependent on Nanoha. Sure, she can still function normally when they aren't together, and it's not like she can't do anything without going to the other girl first. But she saw that if Nanoha ever died, she would not be able to keep it together, and that really freaks her out. Jail's Hannibal Lecture was right about one thing: she's terrified of being alone, and what it will do to her.

So tied into that is her protectiveness, especially concerning her girlfriend. She knows she can be a little overbearing, she knows it can annoy Nanoha sometimes... but she really can't help it. She can't let anything happen to the people she cares about, and puts their personal safety above her own.

And Koishi really likes Nanoha! She'll probably start bothering her soon, to see if maybe they can have a friendly sparring match or to see if Nanoha's had any further luck cracking her antisocial hermit sister's shell.

Fate feels pretty uncomfortable around Julian. She doesn't hate him or anything... she's pretty much completely incapable of hating people if they're not complete monsters. That doesn't mean she's not wary of him, though. On the bright side, she at least has enough trust in him to not make any advances, now that it's clear she's not available.

Also, she will call him out on his behavior if she sees him freaking out any other girls.

ffffft, he'll still hit on her, though it'll basically be for fun and watching her blush and spazz. He knows he won't get any. He likens hitting on a lesbian to running on a treadmill; its great exercise, but you're not actually going to get anywhere. But he can't not flirt at a cute girl.

FATE ON CLAIRE? the reasonable parents.

Fate still doesn't know Claire that well (which we totally must change), and their interaction during Shore Leave wasn't exactly under the best circumstances, but she feels like she can relate to her a bit. Like you said, they're the reasonable ones; the Nice to Nanoha and Leon's Stern. Not to mention their partners are both total workaholics, so that's another thing they can bond over.

Katara!

Katara's a very sweet girl. Fate was a bit shocked with how quickly the other girl understood the relationship between her and Nanoha (she likes to think they were still trying to hide it at that point), and was pretty flustered that she took to teasing her almost instantly, but it doesn't really bother her. Fate Teasing is a common hobby among all her friends, sob.

She knows Katara has had a rough time with her relationship with Aang thanks to him disappearing and reappearing a couple of times, and really wishes the best for the girl. If she ever needs advice, or a shoulder to lean on, or just someone to talk to, Fate will be more than willing to help.

Vivio is just as important to Fate as Nanoha is. She's been dealing with children for a while now, has taken care of two since before she was even legally allowed to, but Vivio is the first one to see her as a mother, not just some older sister figure, and so their bond is extremely close. Being the more laid-back parent, Fate likes spoiling Vivio a bit. She knows that spoiling a child could be bad for them, but Nanoha's sternness evens things out.

As we saw on Zokez II, Fate is just as much of a Mama Bear as Nanoha is. Hurting her little girl is a quick way to get on Fate's (very, very short) shitlist, and she's gunna do anything and everything to protect her. This protectiveness has definitely been bumped up a bit since the battle, so god help whatever tries going after Vivio next time a fight breaks out.
