The CR (Character Relationships) Meme

It's been a while since we've really done a meme with a purpose, and longer since we've done a CR meme - and now that we have a bunch of fresh new characters, time to find out what everyone thinks of you!

There's nothing fancy here - no fancy HTML - just pure bare-bones simplicity:

Nanoha and Claire?

Claire doesn't know Nanoha that well, but she definitely respects her as a fellow ship mom and BAMF. She'd overall like to get to know the woman better, since they seem to have stuff in common, and Claire needs more friends, as it is.

Claire and Fate.

Claire hasn't interacted much with Fate, but she's glad to know she's not the only one who has a workaholic significant other who she has to parent almost as much as their own child. She'd definitely like to get to know her better.

Claire and Scarlet on Steve and Luis.

Yes I've heard it before but this is a meme goddammit.

HMMMMM

Claire loves Steve. There's no doubt in her mind how much she cares for him, and though it's not romantic at all, she feels very much for him the way she would if she were to have a younger sibling. There's a sense of wanting to protect him from danger, keep him safe, and she'll do whatever she can to accomplish that.

That aside, though, there's a part of her that aches whenever she's reminded of how much she's failed him.

Claire's opinion on Luis is much simpler. He seems dedicated to his work, and Leon trusts him, so he's obviously a good guy. Outside of that, she doesn't really know him that well.

Scarlet's impression of Steve is that he's an unfortunate kid who got mixed up in some nastiness, but she's not overly emotionally attached. She's kind to him when they're doing the poking and prodding, but she's also got a sense of detachment. She got overly emotionally invested once before, and it got her killed, so she's more focused, this time around.

Aaand her impression of Luis is... kind of complicated. She's irritated by his womanizing, but she respects him scientifically. She actually doesn't mind him all that much anymore, to the point where she can find some of his flirting endearing.

Claire on Miku and Sherry?

Claire has been meaning to get to know Miku a little better, because she'd like to judge if the other woman in Steve's life is really good enough for her ~~little brother~~ friend. Still, she's glad enough that Steve has found someone to care for, and she trusts his character judgment enough to not go all Chris Redfield.

Granted, if Miku ever does something to harm Steve, Claire will go Chris Redfield.

Claire loves Sherry unconditionally. She finds her a brilliant child who is easy to talk to and she absolutely adores her. That aside, sometimes she doesn't know quite what to do with her, especially now that Sherry is starting to act more and more like Claire herself.

Still, she feels like she's built up enough of a relationship with Sherry that the girl can talk to her about anything, so she's hoping that even when teenage hormones start hitting, she'll still let Claire in enough so she can... you know, run interference.

Miku/Claire hangouts need to be done, then, I think.

SHE DOES NOT WANT TO BE REDFIELD BOULDERPUNCHED. ;A;

Claire on Lex and Leon

Scarlet on Lex. Not that they've met, though we should correct that.

umm before the whole Steve thing, Lex honestly wasn't on Claire's radar. He was kind of that one prick you just ignore. However, now, he's like, chilling up around Alfred levels of deranged psycho. She's going to do what she can to make sure he doesn't hurt anyone the way he hurt Steve, again.

lol and Leon, ohhh. Claire loves Leon more than she's ever loved anyone, and that honestly scares her a little. She's always a little happier when he's near, and as much as she doesn't want to admit it, she's unhappy with his busy job for more than just the fact that he didn't really want it. She'll stand by him, though, and while she doesn't always listen to him, she respects him.

That helps her a lot in feeling more comfortable about the way she feels for him, on top of the fact that he is one of very few people she feels she can be safely honest with. There are things Leon knows about her that Chris never will.

Ever since Raccoon City, Claire hasn't been much the type of person to think very far ahead, but with Sherry, and how comfortable she's with Leon (plus, they've been together almost a year now, which is the longest any of her relationships have ever lasted) she's starting to realize that one conversation they had forever ago before they were dating about how if she ever found the right guy she figured she'd settle down and have kids, while Leon joked about him being the right guy, it really was the truth.

UMM Scarlet doesn't have much of an opinion on Lex, really. He's just another blur of faces she doesn't really know that well or associate with.
