The CR (Character Relationships) Meme

It's been a while since we've really done a meme with a purpose, and longer since we've done a CR meme - and now that we have a bunch of fresh new characters, time to find out what everyone thinks of you!

There's nothing fancy here - no fancy HTML - just pure bare-bones simplicity:

WOW WAY TO MAKE ME FEEL INADEQUATE BEFORE I EVEN WRITE THIS UP

Kira isn't the type to hold grudges as a general rule of thumb, but it's interesting to note that... with Yzak in particular, he really never even knew who the guy was through the entire time that the two were pseudo-rivals. With Athrun he was always "ATHRUNNN" but Yzak? He only knew him as the pilot of the Duel - when he sees him at JOSH-A, that's all he says: "The Duel!"

So, whatever animosity he HAD towards Yzak once upon a time, it wasn't towards the person, but towards the pilot of the Duel. When they fought, when Yzak destroyed the shuttle full of civilians, etc. But his epiphany after almost dying in his duel with Athrun applied to Yzak, as well: Yes, he killed Kira's comrades and even civilians, but did he *want* to? Would he have done it if he'd known them? Probably not, Kira, thinks - it's just how war is.

From getting to know Dearka, that just reaffirmed to Kira that the Creuset team was pretty much decent people who were trying to protect their homes and their families in war - and then from Jachin Due onwards, every time Kira and Yzak are on the battlefield together, they're fighting on roughly the same side. So there's really no grudge there on Kira's part at all.

He sees Yzak as someone who is abrasive and often harsh, but who genuinely means well after all of it - his attitude isn't out of malice or hatred, he's just... grumpy. And prideful. And Kira can't necessarily fault him for that, especially since he's demonstrated time and again that he's actually a pretty good person to have on your side when the chips are down.

Of course, it is a bit awkward knowing that he's fighting alongside someone who previously held one hell of a grudge against him, and Yzak's prickliness makes it harder for things between them to become completely normal, but... hey, Kira has nothing against him, and he'd really rather the two be able to function as a team.

WHICH THEY TOTALLY WILL and this reminds me I need to do a Jachin Due Sensorium post. :|
