Nanashi comes up behind Zetta and wraps her arms around him, with one hand being rather inappropriate, "So, what is on the agenda today my dear? We are still entertaining the Earl of the Hirashi Prefecture, informing them of their new status as 'minions', yes?"

"Sure, whatever." He leaned backwards onto her, the sort of fond gesture one wouldn't expect from a shallow appraisal of the Overlord.

Zetta pretty much showed up to these things Nanashi kept going on about to look awesome and deal with challenges while laughing. She was the political brains of the duo, after all.

"Just so long as I'm not late for the 100-on-1 Overlord Grand Melee."

Nanashi kissed his cheek with a chuckle, "Of course not, little one." Zetta got to get used to that affectionate term now that the people all around him also used it as a form of affection.

"Ah, and you also cannot miss Karou-kun's first Netherworld Conquering! Only 14, but is it any wonder, being our son?"

He was very used to it, and accepted it for the affection that it held. Almost lazily, he reached around to swing his wife into his arms properly. "Heh, he sure grew up fast. He gets that from your side, you know."

Nanashi laughed, spinning into Zetta's arms and showing him a brilliant smile. He was the man who had finally given her a son of her own. "Of course he did! We vampires do not spend our time dawdling around, wasting years growing up. It is better to get it done promptly." She smiled and kissed Zetta before twirlling away from him, "But his raw power, that comes from you, and to be taking his first Netherworld so young! I am sure all the other demons must be full of so much envy!"

Never one for excessive movements of his own (uh, outside of combat), Zetta nevertheless watched his wife's movements with half fondness, half interest. "They consider it cheating, actually," Zetta said, amused. "But among demons, that's good. Don't try to claim he didn't inherit any power from you, though. He's got me beat, when I was his age... I mean, you know."

Nanashi flashed her fangs, "Of course he got power from me. He got his skill from me of course. That fantastic Dexterity stat? You know it's my doing. Of course my son would out-rank any other demon. What else did they expect? He is the son of the Most Badass Friggin' Overlord and the Great Vampire Queen!"

Zetta could not possibly have any other reaction to this declaration than the one he displayed: stepping forward, grabbing his wife with just a hint of roughness, and kissing her hard enough to curl toes.

Nanashi's toes did curl as she embraced him back with just as much strength, returning the kiss with a teasing bite on his lip as well.
