[He was already there. He had been there for some time, actually. This was an odd habit of his, watching her waterbend. There was an elegance to her movements, a gracefulness that his telekinesis could never quite match. He never liked interrupting her, and waited until she took a break before making his presence known, knocking on the door.]

[Katara knew who it was before he entered. She'd been expecting him of course, and though she hadn't known he was there watching her, she figured he would be there soon. She was still a little blown over by how the two of them had ended up together, but Katara had always been the one in Julian's corner, knowing he would find someone that would anchor him a little. She just never imagined he would have waited for her.]

And her greeting is instant: she walked over and planted a big kiss on him, grinning. "And here I thought you were going to be late."

"And miss out on spending a moment with you?" Yeah, he's still a charmer, but only with his wife.

"You really like laying it on thick Julian," Katara said dryly, but the creeping blush made her true feelings clear. That was another thing that Katara liked about the two of them: they'd been friends so long that Katara knew the difference between Julian's flattery and his true feelings.

"So we both have time Julian: what do you want to do today?"
