We've got some new meat this podpop, so let's roll on with the IC truth meme!

Premise: There's something happening to you...you feel strange...like you wore the wrong socks, or you accidentally ate that week old egg salad sanwich in the back of the fridge. Whatever you feel, it makes you suddenly want to be...truthful. More than that: you feel like there's something inside of you just bursting to get out!

...the truth.

Rules:
1. ICly reply to this post with your characters blurting something truthful out. It can be a deep dark secret they've been harboring, or that crush they have on that one crew member, or anything else. As long as it's the truth, it can be said.
2. Make as many truths as you want. Or..just make one really long list of truths. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
3. Reply to other people's truths with your characters' reactions. Anything goes. pie throwing?
4. To help people scavenge through the truths, maybe put your characters' names in the subject box. optional.

As society grew, so did security...and in turn, so did fear for the next generation. The adults decided to put their children on leashes so that they could control their lives and the cruk excuse to "protect" them.

I tried to kill my father.

We were tricked, I was running with his team at the time. I'd been a shadowrunner for two years, at this point, and I was already disturbed by how careless they could be.

We were hired by a Johnson for a routine extradition job, and he gave us chemical containers to put through the air vents, knocking everyone out. We did so, and used out own gas masks, enhanced by myself, to extract a little girl and give her to the Johnson. It turns out later that the 'tranq gas' was a biological weapon, and the girl was a living carrier for it. Everyone in the building that we'd exposed that night was dead before the morning.

My father was furious. Not that he'd been tricked into killing so many, but that he'd been tricked into doing it for free, and made moves to grab the girl back. I don't know why, I think he planned on killing her.

So I stood against him, and unloaded a pistol into his chest. He stood up, and I don't really remember what happened next, but I woke up in a hospital with the doctors telling me that I'd been very lucky to live, and that they'd had to harvest a lung, some spinal tissue, and massive skin grafts from my clone in order to help me live.

I've talked to him three times since then, all on purely business details.
