that time of the...uh...again
We've got some new meat this podpop, so let's roll on with the IC truth meme!
Premise: There's something happening to you...you feel strange...like you wore the wrong socks, or you accidentally ate that week old egg salad sanwich in the back of the fridge. Whatever you feel, it makes you suddenly want to be...truthful. More than that: you feel like there's something inside of you just bursting to get out!
It's!
...the truth.
Rules:
1. ICly reply to this post with your characters blurting something truthful out. It can be a deep dark secret they've been harboring, or that crush they have on that one crew member, or anything else. As long as it's the truth, it can be said.
2. Make as many truths as you want. Or..just make one really long list of truths. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
3. Reply to other people's truths with your characters' reactions. Anything goes.pie throwing?
4. To help people scavenge through the truths, maybe put your characters' names in the subject box. optional.

There's no way I can reassure you about this without acknowledging that I oggle your chest, sooo I'm just going to acknowledge that anyway--we both know I oggle--and now that that's out of the way, I'm just going to say that I think you look perfect.
You'd still look perfect if you...uh, blossomed into the more classic figure of Viking womanhood, and hey, there'd be way more of you to love, right? (Way, way more of you to love). But right now, you're already...I mean...
You're already so muscular, and lithe and--and...
[And he's staring at your chest. Sorry, Astrid, his eyes just kind of drifted.]
And you have...hips. That...
Yeah.
[Boobs.]

[She taps the side of her mouth.] ...You got a little something here.
[Drooling, Hiccup, you might be drooling.]

[Hiccup's hand quickly goes to the corner of his mouth and he wipes at his face, and tries to stop looking at her chest. It's hard, when that's what this whole conversation is about.]
As I was saying, you're...your body is--boy, is it hard commenting on this without getting slapped--
Do you know how much raw power you already wield? Forget your... breastplate region, you just--you can look at me and level me with your eyes.
But they are nice.
Not your eyes--I mean...
[he points]
Those.
Are nice.

[She glances down where he's pointing then self-consciously folds her arms over herself, acting neutral despite the blush on her cheeks.]
I-I see.
[She sighs and smiles lightly.] Heh. You speak fondly of me, but you're really trying to tell me that I shouldn't have to worry.

Yes! That is...that's what I'm trying to say.
You're already the prettiest girl in the world--no, the whole universe. Or, you know, all of them, since apparently there's more than one.
I don't understand why you think you need anything different about you, when you're already really, really beautiful. Not that any, uh, additions would make you less pretty, but that's the whole point. However you looked would be pretty. If you had a, uh, full chestplate, you'd be beautiful and how you are now is also beautiful. It's actually a pretty good deal, don't you think? No matter what, it's win-win. All gorgeous, all the time.

And I'm getting the feeling you will scold me whenever I do worry. [Wink.]
no subject
That's not too much. It's just...how I see you.
Nobody's completely perfect, physically or otherwise. There's no such thing as perfect, anyway, there's just everyone's own ideas of what perfect is. And you, you're kind of violent and occasionally temperamental, and sometimes terrifying, and yes, your chest is kind of flat--
[Boy, he's a real flatterer]
But that's perfect, at least to me.
So yeah, expect scolding when you worry about it. Because every time you worry about something silly like that, I'll just have to try to make you see yourself with my eyes.

[Her shoulders nearly sagged when he spoke the truth. S-She did not need to hear that from him! At least not the "flat" part so straight-forward.]
Right. I'll try to remember that. [He gets a sweet smile and a peck to the nose for it, though.]
Thanks, Hiccup.
