that time of the...uh...again
We've got some new meat this podpop, so let's roll on with the IC truth meme!
Premise: There's something happening to you...you feel strange...like you wore the wrong socks, or you accidentally ate that week old egg salad sanwich in the back of the fridge. Whatever you feel, it makes you suddenly want to be...truthful. More than that: you feel like there's something inside of you just bursting to get out!
It's!
...the truth.
Rules:
1. ICly reply to this post with your characters blurting something truthful out. It can be a deep dark secret they've been harboring, or that crush they have on that one crew member, or anything else. As long as it's the truth, it can be said.
2. Make as many truths as you want. Or..just make one really long list of truths. Whatever makes you feel comfortable.
3. Reply to other people's truths with your characters' reactions. Anything goes.pie throwing?
4. To help people scavenge through the truths, maybe put your characters' names in the subject box. optional.

So I'd play house or pretend the others were my friends and that they were over for dinner or...
[A long pause, and when he finally speaks, his voice cracks a little]
Sometimes I'd pretend my mom was there.
It didn't really matter what I was making, or who I was pretending was there, what mattered was when I did that, I wasn't eating alone.
If Gobber stayed, then I had somewhere to go some nights, but the times Gobber went with him, dad told me to have dinner a few nights with someone else in the village. I mean, son of the chief, right? Everyone was willing to have me, they all knew dad wanted me looked after, and that no one was at home to watch me, and so on. But I didn't like to impose when it was pretty obvious no one wanted me over, and they'd just ignore me anyway while eating, or think what I said was weird, so I didn't bother with that after a while.
[He's blurting, but the meme is making the truth just spill out.]

[She scoffs loudly, throwing her arm out to the side.] Well, I'm with you now, so I won't ever let you eat alone again!
[...And she blushes instantly, slapping her hand over her mouth, eyes wide at her sudden exclamation. Then quickly recovers, crossing her arms. That's just the way the truth meme roles.]
Y-Yeah. No... no more pretending.

I--I still would to cook for you, maybe. Sometime. I'm not bad at it. Better than my dad, at any rate. I did most of the cooking. I know how to use herbs and spices and things.
[This is no small accomplishment when you're from an island known for its utterly bland food.]

Oh? Maybe you will be able to find books on lots of recipes.
