"You're getting there princess," Hit Girl said, sill bantering with Sasami. "In the end, stuff like a kiss is really what you make of it. Otherwise, its just people swapping spit."

Sasami nodded, letting out a chuckle. "Right...!" and she adds on to that by taking the initiative, giving Hit Girl a kiss of her own.

"Told you s..." Hit Girl started to say, when she got smooched by the blue haired girl herself. She did looked stunned, but at the same time, also mildly impressed with Sasami's nerve. She was sure the girl would likely have not done something like this previously. Maybe there was hope after all.

"Now was that a swapped spit or something more?" She teased. "Answer carefully!"

"Something more." Sasami said, confident. "I have someone and you're not like that. Doesn't mean I can't show how I feel... or when someone needs something." she smiles a bit.

Here, the girl paused. "What exactly did you need?"

"...a friend?" Sasami said, chuckling a bit. "Beyond that... I don't know. What do you need of me? You're obviously willing to be like this around me. I'm curious."

"Friends don't normally kiss," Hit Girl answered. "Well, maybe they did back in the day, but they don't now. Whatever."

That was a difficult question to answer. Hit Girl thought about it a long time before she answered.

"You ever see something in somebody you really like, but know you can't have? That's kind of my reason...well, one of them. The other is simpler: I can trust you to know both of me."

Sasami blinked, listening to what Hit Girl said. As she finished, she smiled at her, blushing. "...so, you like me? I'm touched. Really, I am. And I'm touched you trust me enough that I can see both sides of you."

She shook her head slightly. "Maybe that's what I see in both you and Negi. You two have such... adventurous? Headstrong, maybe?... personalities, it's... attractive. I know you won't let me get too close, but..." she smiles sweetly, even if it wouldn't go well with her companion. "...you know I'll be here. For you. For Negi. Hopefully, for everyone if they'll let me."

"Hey hey, you don't have to make a big deal about it," Mindy said hastily, wondering if she was going to regret this. "No need to be mushy. But if I had to choose between most of the people on this ship, I'd chose someone who was more likely to keep what I do to herself, all right."

Yes, she was fine with Sasami, but she wasn't going to let anyone KNOW that. And if she was forced to kiss someone, better her than some pedo in the closet, right?

Wait, attractive, what? Was she kidding? "If your Negi is anything like me, he'll have his reasons for not letting people in. The stuff I do isn't for the faint of heart, and would probably scare the hell out of some the adults on the ship. Best thing to do is stay away from someone like me, if you were smart."

Sasami wasn't though, which she was fine with.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to be that way." she said, grinning sheepishly.

"If I were smart, I probably wouldn't have done a lot of the stuff I've done since I came here. I would have stayed with the kids instead of fought the Ohm, I wouldn't of ran for the Council, would have ran instead of trying to help Alessa, wouldn't try to pull your mask off..." she uttered the last one. "...but, that's not how I am. I'm probably risking a lot making friends with some of the people here, but... I don't regret it."

She moves to teasingly poke Mindy in the cheek. "...even if some people don't see me in that way!"

Hit Girl sighed. "You don't have to apologize for everything. Jeez, princess."

She thought a moment. "Well, most of those choices sound OK, though I have no idea who the hell Alessa is and if anyone but you have tried taking off the mask, I would have been restrained by Stacy before I let that happen. Not that I think I mind you not joining Council: they don;t seem to be making much headway in anything I've seen."

Mindy gave her a glare. "No, some people just see you as a pain in the ass. But I guess even pain in the asses are ok in doses."

More distancing, Sasami. It was up to you to decode the contradiction that was Hit Girl.

"I am not a pain in the--!" Sasami began to say before dissolving into sputtering. She never started cussing and she didn't want to now. She crossed her arms over her chest.

"...why do you keep pulling away whenever I touch you, yet you're more than willing to do the reverse? You say you don't like it and yet..."

Hit Girl had to hide the snicker. Sasami was a sweet girl, she had to admit, and she didn't mind her too much. That didn't mean she wouldn't try to get a rise out of her every now and again, especially when it came to cursing.

"Who knows? I'm really confusing." She grinned. "Don't take it personally. It's just my way, all right? You have to protect yourself somehow. Otherwise-"

Here she pinched Sasami's butt out of the blue. "-You get taken advantage of!"

Sasami let out a yelp as she pinched her rear, causing her to jump. She couldn't help but glare at the other girl for doing that.

"P-Point taken...!" Sasami said, rubbing her rear. "...but, the same has to go for you, too!" She wasn't as daring as Hit Girl was, but glomping the girl was probably bold enough for her.

And Hit Girl couldn't help but grin at Sasami's glare. She couldn't help it: Sasami was really easy to tease.

"I guess-" She started to say when she was mowed down by Sasami, and she pretended to sound bothered. "Hey, I know its says Seven minutes in heaven but that's a little forward for both of us, don't you think?"

See if Sasami got the jist of what she meant. If it freaked her out, more points for her.
