IN WHICH I KILL ALL PRODUCTIVITY FOR A NIGHT
So I had this idea in chat and---*thwap*---it's positively evil.
Your guide? TVTropes, the site that will soon ruin your life if it hasn't already done so several times over.Not that I've ever had twenty trope tabs open, no siree!
Your mission? List every trope that you know of that applies to your character!
If you're playing a canon character, you've got it relatively easy. Your canon probably has its own page and some tropes for your character listed for you already. If you're playing an OC from a canon, that canon's tropes should be helpful. And then there's the obvious ones like werewolf tropes or vampire tropes you can easily find with a search.
And if all that doesn't help you? HIT THE RANDOMIZER OVER AND OVER. Soon you'll find something that sorta fits, which leads to something that totally fits, that leads to more things that fit, until you're lost in a pothole maze of tropes. It's fun.

Everyone Calls Him Barkeep (Chief or Master Chief. And he prefers it that way.)
The Faceless (BRB subverting!)
It's Raining Men (Falling from orbit and walking it off? No problem!)
No One Could Survive That (Many. So many things.)
Crowning Moment of Awesome (So many times)
Crowning Moment of Heartwarming ("Wake me, when you need me.")
Deadpan Snarker (Occasionally, usually when he's on his own with Cortana)
Cargo Ship (There's a lot of speculation about him and Cortana)
Powered Armor (Though I've taken it away from him for now. :3)
The Spartan Way (And How)
Walk It Off (Especially with his armor, he can shrug off stupid amounts of damage, and his suit heals him somewhat/contains his injuries.)
Child Soldiers (Abducted at six, a killer at eight, a reliably lethal weapon at fourteen.)
Team Dad (Definitely with his Spartans. Used to be headed this direction when he was serving as Commander on this ship.)
Instant Waking Skills (Don't surprise him when he's sleeping if you know what's good for you.)
Super Senses (Especially sight. He can pretty much see in the dark.)
Asexual (Straight, but oblivious.)
There Is Another (The Chief was believed to be the last living Spartan aside from Grey Team after the fall of Reach. He later returned and recovered several other surviving Spartans.)
I Can Fight (He's notorious for fighting wounded, or refusing to wait before jumping back into the fray.)
Scars Are Forever (Partially justified by the fact he tends to go for the quickest route out of medical treatment. Dude takes a lot of serious hits.)
