Only three days remain until I can return to Transmigration 9, and knowing that is sustaining my motivation to work at the moment. I'm aware that this construction of the towns' defense system is vital to the mission, and I finally believe we'll finish on time, but it hasn't looked good today.
Who knew that the lack of modern medicine would do me in, even over the loss of electricity? I've contracted something or other over the past few days, and I can't remember the last time I've felt this exhausted. I suppose the miserable weather, small wounds, and overall lack of hygiene with our food supply and waste disposal did me in. I'll never forget almost tumbling off the wall, and I'm sure I look green in any mirror.
But I have to keep going. If the ill man who hesitates fairly often and works between vomiting periods can help to finish the wall in time, so can they. I'll just keep them safe somehow. I've done what I can to use fire and a sealed box to create a mini-disposal system for infectious waste, and already been asked for a few more boxes. I'll see if I can leave them instructions when the wall is finished, but for now...
...all I want is a warm shower and a pulsating bed, preferably lacking bedbugs. Three more days.

(Note, telling others on the ship of the plan will doom everyone to stay on the ship because Stacy finds out of the plan and blocks the escape. The escape will place you back in your timeline and your world is removed from the Ohms target list - Yes they found all this out, ask Dr Tommy about it)

"Yeah, we'll stop this from ever happening to Angel Grove. After this, handling Lord Zedd by himself will be a piece of cake," Kimberly agreed anxiously, glancing over at the power crystal that Jason and Trini were still examining.
"It's not that simple," Billy insisted sadly. How he wished he could go along with the plan and leave. This would be someone else's problem---but could he ever escape the shadow while everything haunted his memories? "We were rescued because it's believed that we can stop the destruction of worlds. Don't you want that?"
Jason looked up at their questioning friend then, fighting back the conflict that was apparent on everyone's faces. "We promised Zordon that we would protect Earth. Stopping the Ohm from ripping apart our planet is protection, right?"
That made too much sense. Billy continued to look uncomfortable---if he refused, he could be sentencing most of his planets' people to permanent death. If he went with them, he'd be abandoning the friends that had been his lifeline and the war that was so important to all of them.
"I just...don't know. My friends here need me. The ship needs me. Even if I escaped with you, I'd never forget the unfinished war I left behind."

First, a core laboratory. It would have the most up-to-date technology, high areas, low areas, and underground tunnels. His bedchambers could be anywhere within the complex, but he'd like an underwater room if at all possible. And so it was built, with a happy Billy cheerily looking up at the fish swimming above him.
Variable climates came next. There was a mountain on one end, a beach on the other, a dry forest, some grass...plenty of places to test new inventions and explore. The broad details made him more than happy.
But his greatest care went into the little items: secret coves scattered throughout the island. A special bay behind some dunes, a mountain cave leading to a hot spring, and a little wooded hideout all materialized. There would be plenty of places for him (and anyone living beside him, of course) to escape to when the world became too hectic.
And that was how he liked it.

No, he was the experienced Ranger, so he would be leading this misadventure. Dustin, Tenaya, and the five Rangers he already served with were present as ever, but he'd been given three more morphers: black, white, and gray. Who else to take with them?
Eventually, the black morpher found its way into Alex's hands. No matter what, and especially with the help Alex had now received, the shadow eater was his trusted friend with formidable resolve. Billy saw a lot of similarities between himself and Alex, and he hoped that his friend would gain the confidence from a successful mission that he had.
White became Kaya. Billy had always associated her with the color, and he knew he wanted an optimistic yet deadly presence beside them on this particular mission. Somehow, he knew the Ohm didn't stand a chance if she was present.
Gray was the hardest choice to make. It represented someone well balanced, someone in between. Who could he trust there, for this one-time Rangering stint? Billy was cautious. He went with someone who knew things about the powers, knew him well, and had proven to be great with machinery. Ronnae, he believed, would strike that balance.
For that mission, they split into two Megazords, freshly reinforced for Ohm combat by Billy and a team of volunteering mechanics. Jamie took the established team in one, while Billy and Dustin accompanied the new trio in the other. After this, Billy promised himself, he would give the triumphant heroes the grand tour. They would be triumphant, of course---
---and they were, despite a few injuries, and hugs all around ensued (perhaps kisses from Ronnie as well). The Power and their strength had protected them long enough to last into the afterparty. Pizza, smoothies, and a food fight were on the menu of course!

The problem with this particular security project was that it involved lasers. Many, many lasers. And we all know who's attracted by those!
It was an inevitability that Lash would be drawn to their laser tower as if it was a giant magnet. It was also an inevitability that Billy would have to watch her like a hawk, preventing her from tacking on 'extras' and creating quite a monster. But through it all, he never expected just how difficult it would be to keep her out.
When Lash was finally gone for the day (or at least he thought she was), Billy breathed a sigh of relief and began the most delicate phase of the operation: final wiring. This had to be done just right, for any unexpected additions or tripping of the lasers would cause terrible damage to the entire laboratory.
Far too late, he realized that not all had gone well: there was a mountain of...something traveling along the edge of the table. He poked a leg at it, surprised to see that it was the tip of an afro. A very familiar, foreboding afro.
"Lash, what are you doing down there? Your work on this tower was excellent, but I no longer need assistance. We're simply finishing up."
"But you're not finished! You've yet to add the final touch!"
"What final touch?"
"You'll see!"
"No I won't, because this really can't be messed with. Come on, let's give it a rest," Billy pleaded at the grinning-far-too-widely engineer, carefully extracting his hands from his work and reaching for her.
"No, just relax---" And she dodged. He grabbed, and she dodged again. It proceeded in a pattern around the table, Billy cursing under his breath when her dodge placed her at the control panel.
"Lash, please, let's drop this. I'll give you another laser project later!"
But she wasn't buying it. She simply shook her head, smiled, and..."hmm. I love what this button does!"
It was pushed, there was a flash of brightly colored lights, and the lifespan of the Special Weapons Laboratory was ended. Good night, sweet lab.
Re: Billy Cranston
Billy having a terribly awesome, radical day. So awesome it's like a supernova. That awesome 8D

Billy woke up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy. He grabbed his glasses, was out the door, gonna hit the City...
Onlookers would see Billy walking arm in arm with Ronnae, the pair wearing new leather outfits and shades (at her insistence). Why, you ask? Because this was their planned day of Fun, and nothing stood in Billy Cranston's way when he was determined to have something. In this case, he was ready to try his hand at a rather exhilarating activity.
What is it? Hang-gliding, of course! It's the next best alternative to actually flying.
Why couldn't they use the Sensoriums?
Why build all those things?
Because it's awesome, that's why, is the gist of Billy's response each time. He exchanges secret smiles and kisses with Ronnie all the way, his gait clearly indicating that he doesn't give a damn about what anyone else might think. One of 'em's even in front of the crew, with hand movements that definitely indicate that the two of them are together.
Leather gives confidence, apparently. With a wide grin, Billy finally makes it to the top of their jump-off point. They strap up, hold hands, and...liftoff. Gliding like that, you learn to see forever.
His favorite part by far is the finale, skimming his hands through the water and touching ground just so. They fold up their gliders together, stand as one, come close, and...there's your supernova. Boom.
