Puppy follows him everywhere.

Sho was walking home from school one bright, sunny day. It had been a while since any Zoanoids attacked him. He should have counted his blessing, but he knew he needed to stay on edge. He jumped when he heard a rustling in the bushes. He turned around and got ready to fight whatever creature was trying to sneak up on him.

There was no Zoanoid however. Just an innocent little fuzzy white puppy with an old rag. Sho sighed in relief. He reached down to pet the tiny dog, who licked his hand and barked happily. Sho waved goodbye and walked off for home.

It wasn't long before Sho heard the tip-tap of little nails behind him. He turned his head to see the puppy following him. Sho merely shrugged as he continued. He walked down the streets on his usual route. Sho stopped by a store to pick up a sandwich to go, and the puppy was right there outside waiting for him.

He had almost gotten home, and the puppy still followed. Sho stopped and picked out a piece of meat from his half-eaten sandwich.

"Here, it's ham." Sho said as he tossed it to the puppy. It jumped and caught it in its mouth. "Listen, you're adorable, but I can't take care of a dog right now. I've got way too many responsibilities right now, not to mention all the Zoanoids out to get me..."

The dog was not listening however, and it yipped playfully, running circles around Sho. The boy sighs and gives the puppy another treat. "I'd hate to see you get hurt if something happened, but I suppose you need someone to look after you..."

Sho picks up the puppy, and it licks his face affectionately. Sho chuckles. "Okay, calm down. I'll see what my dad says. You're just staying for one night, and then I'm finding your ownders. Maybe I could give you to Mizuki and Tetsuro."

And with that, Sho brought the little fuzzy dog inside, giving him for treats and a nice warm bed to sleep on.
