IC beauty pageant meme!

1. Post images of your characters! If your characters don't have images, high-larious descriptions are more than acceptable.
2. People ICly grade them from 1-10 (1 = lowest, 10 = highest).
3. Child characters are applicable. In the...kid's division, or something. LET'S NOT BE SKEEVY ALL RIGHT?
4. ???
5. No profit, unfortunately.
6. Oh yeah REACT THUSLY ICLY and all that
7. Stolen from capeandcowl!

Archaeology. Egyptology specifically.

[So he sounds a little put out about not reading the paper thing. Just a bit]

I'm not comfortable about grading someone based on their looks.

[Although now that it got started, he might be secretly doing it too despite himself. Starting with Kaylee. Damn.]

[she's a 9.5 by the way]

Besides, how do you even set a universal criterion? Everyone's got different tastes so it seems pointless to do a 1-10 scale here.

So Earth. Got it. Can't ever say I've dug anythin' up that weren't broken sprinkler parts...

Still, bet there's all kinds of history you find, yeah? And then piece 'em together for stories and all. Be one helluva good way to get to know people, seein' how they lived.

[ It's almost as good as hearing it from the people themselves, but Kaylee'll take what she can get from Earth-That-Was folks and their research. Their lives in-general, really. Comes from never experiencing...any of it.

Also, 9.5 is totally acceptable~ ]

Kinda gives you an idea of peoples' tastes, though. I think it's mostly just to give everybody a chance to flaunt a bit. Don't ever hurt to feel perdy.

[He looks slightly pained at the broken sprinkler parts for a moment, but then he smiles.]

Just think, hundreds of years from now, some archaeologist will be digging up those broken sprinkler parts.

Definitely. There's so much of our past that's still out there waiting to be uncovered.

[He can't deny that there's nothing wrong with someone feeling perdy good about themselves, although basing it on physical appearance really just makes him think of courting rituals for birds..]

Yes, I suppose so. I really didn't do this kind of thing back in college...
