IC beauty pageant meme!

1. Post images of your characters! If your characters don't have images, high-larious descriptions are more than acceptable.
2. People ICly grade them from 1-10 (1 = lowest, 10 = highest).
3. Child characters are applicable. In the...kid's division, or something. LET'S NOT BE SKEEVY ALL RIGHT?
4. ???
5. No profit, unfortunately.
6. Oh yeah REACT THUSLY ICLY and all that
7. Stolen from capeandcowl!

It's just a war machine. Sheesh.

So am I, when you get down to it. And Laevatein, my sword, maybe a little more literally. And my family. Machines or not, we're all still comrades, though.

An artificial human, is the short way of explaining it...

Want to make this conversation canon?

I prefer to think of myself as a soldier, now, and a knight before that.

Oh lord, we should.

You're just a machine! You're like Wonder Girl!

Let's pretend they ran into each other during RANDOM TRAINAN or something

"Just" a machine, hm? I suppose that's a normal attitude, on some Earths.

Not that it's any concern of mine, though, but would you say this spaceship is just a machine, too?

For sure.

Of course it is. It just accepts commands. It's not a real person.

[She's edging away a bit.]

[Signum isn't following.]

I'm not so sure. I don't believe she was specifically commanded to save each of our particular lives, but she did anyway.

...for my part, I'm grateful.

[identity profile] redheadcarrier.livejournal.com 2011-04-15 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
So what? She's not free. She's not real. She's just... programming. Just a puppet.

[identity profile] brustriese.livejournal.com 2011-04-15 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Her creators aren't here. She clearly makes decisions on her own in their absence. It sounds to me she's in the same position as any human.

[identity profile] redheadcarrier.livejournal.com 2011-04-15 05:27 am (UTC)(link)
That doesn't make her a person! Or you!

[identity profile] brustriese.livejournal.com 2011-04-15 05:32 am (UTC)(link)
Hmph. I suppose if I'm an automaton, then by your logic, there's no reason for you to listen to my arguments anyway. Clearly, all these words I'm forming are just coded reactions to anticipated stimuli, and not the thoughts of a reasoning being.
