It'd taken him a while to realize it, and Kang still didn't understand most of what Charizard was saying, but usually he could get the gist of it through body language. He nodded back, "Charizard. Don't suppose you want some ale?"

Charizard nodded. It was like you were reading his mind. Ash hadn't exactly been appreciative of the dragon developing a taste for the stuff, but eventually he realized that, because of Charizard's very large size, alcohol in extreme moderation wasn't really going to hurt it.

Kang motioned towards one of the barmaids (he'd gotten a couple of new ones over the years) and thanked her with a smile as she set a mug down in front of Charizard. "This is some new stuff, but it's good. I haven't heard anyone complain about it yet."
