That's right folks, it's now time to see how exactly Ten Years on the the Love BoatGood Ship LollipopGilligan's Island Stacy has gone by for your characters.
"Maybe I'll manage to find some way to make the next clutch age slower," Kang shrugged, and then he grinned. "Or maybe not. Fon would probably kill me."
He snorted, "I'm not much younger than you. But fine, I'll help with the heavy lifting. You're going to have to pay me back a favor, though."
"And how many free drinks have I given you over the years, and still give you?" Kang teased back, quirking an eyebrow ridge. "You can pay me back by helping babysit the new ones every now and then after they hatch. You can probably get Kali to help you, too, so you're not as worn out."
She shakes a finger at him. "You know I quit that. I only complained about it to you every fifteen minutes. And what, you don't think I can keep up with some infants?"
Kang laughed, "The drinks I give you now are non-alcoholic, but they're still free. I have no doubt you can handle human infants, but up to six or seven draconian infants? That's another story."
Kang switched to Spanish, "Because you kept defaulting to this language." He'd gotten much better at his tenses and conjugation, but his pronunciation would always be off. He just couldn't make some of the necessary sounds.
Switching back to Common, he added, "At least I did learn. Can't say the same for others."
"Curses on that mother-tongue of mine." She laughs and grins. Kang might not even know how much it warms her heart that he occasionally indulges her native language.
