Starfire looked disappointed, trying to imagine what else could be done for her friend. What had been done...could it ever be undone?
"He would never feel that way!" she scolded testily. "Though I wonder...is there a chance any of us could obtain a different response?"
She peeked around the corner to be sure that May wasn't on her way yet. She didn't know very much about the situation and Starfire preferred it that way. Her 'uncle' Gar was...lost to a terrible mistake.
Starfire bit her lip. It had been...painful whenever she visited him, but it was her duty as a Titan and friend. It was still her hope that they would have something of a meaningful relationship again someday.
"But I have promised to show May. Will it really be all right if I go after him?"
She peeked down the hall once more. Where was May?
"Then I will wait," Starfire promised, briefly peeking out her window. Wherever Beast Boy was...she would find him, somehow. Someday.
"You do not need to hurry!" Starfire switched gears to reassure her daughter, playfully hugging her again. "We are not yet attempting to outrun the creatures that await us, but we will! Save your energy," she suggested, reaching for her family's hands.

"Gar'll still be there later, and you should probably wait a while anyways. He'll have a better chance of recognizing you when he's calmed down."
