[Powers include a somewhat flaky danger sense, a power morpher and the uncontrollable urge to wear a kilt. Or!! You can be 5'8", have a haircut like Davy Jones from the Monkees and...the uncontrollable urge to wear a kilt. Go figure.]

[The Doctor in Jamie's body...might not quite wear his kilt as well as Jamie. Enjoy watching yourself picking at your kilt and starting to lift it dangerously high for a sniff. Possibly a taste test.]

[And Jamie is now all arms and legs and...okay, the two hearts are more than a wee bit strange, he has to admit. It's not going to stop him from trying to prevent that kilt-lifting and somehow managing to work a flail in during that process.] Doctor! Er...me...look, you don't want to do that.

Why not? How do you make this look so easy?

[ Watch, with the way Doctor!Jamie is turning "their" body, Jamie's going to be rather sore when he gets it back. Seems like he's determined to sniff that kilt even if it means bending his body in all sorts of unnatural ways. Somehow he tries to bend around Jamie's flail.]

[He's young, he'll get over it. Well, unless the Doctor decides to bend that way, which looks very painful. That one might take a bit to fix.]

Because...I...hold still, will you? Because I don't go around trying to see what my kilt tastes like, that's how.

[It takes a bit of effort on his part - and some interesting contortions as well, but Jamie manages to reach around the one arm that's still plucking at the tartan and depress the button on the plantsuit wristband so it resumes its regular shape. He pulls back, breathing a little raggedly.]

There. At least now you won't be showing me off to anyone who's happening to pass by.

And that, Jamie McCrimmon, is precisely your problem. I refuse to believe you never ever ever tried to taste your kilt at least once.

It's only your kilt! [ Thanks to Jamie's efforts, the Doctor/Jamie is now decently exposed and in no danger of flashing anyone. Before Jamie can do anything, he sneaks in a lick and straightens, smacking his lips together and turning the taste over in his mouth. ]

Odd. I can't even tell how old it is. You humans really do have strange taste buds!

That's because I have the sense not to go around... [And there he goes. Okay, to be fair, Jamie knew that was coming, but grimaces all the same, not really relishing the idea of what the inside of his mouth is going to taste like once he gets his body back.]

Och, that's just great. Look, Doctor, would ye mind not trying to figure out what my clothing tastes like and try and figure out how we wound up like this instead?

[ Well, this is...certainly something. Kaylee's just going to hold the sides of the kilt down for a minute here... ]

...gotta hand it to you, Jamie, don't know how you ever got past the draft.

[Something doesn't even begin to cover it. Jamie's been stunned into silence for a moment because his bits are...well, no longer exactly his bits, and he's kinda staring at the new ones.]

Um...er...I...sorry, did you say something?

[ ...is it bad that she's not even fazed by that? ]

Yeah, don't matter. Think we should focus more on how it happened than how it feels. [ Hence, tugging at the kilt again. ] ...y'ever think of wearin' something under the kilt, Jamie?

[At least that makes one of them, because Jamie's still trying to wrap his mind around this whole having breasts thing. He does manage to focus after a moment, however.]

Well...no. Why would I do that? I suppose you could make the plantsuit full sized again if you want, though.

Maybe. [ And on goes the plantsuit, and while it helps with the breeze it doesn't necessarily help with other things. Like the fact that she's got man parts. ]

Okay, so how do we fix this, you think? ...Jamie, eyes on my--your--face, please?

[~~But, but...they're~~ right there. Right, fixing the issue. That's important, yes. Blinking a bit, Jamie does as he's told and focuses on his face, trying to convince himself it's just like looking in a mirror.]

Aye, sorry. I don't know. Maybe if we can figure out how it happened to start with?

[ Alright, much better. Not weird at all. ]

Right, good plan...

[ She thinks for a minute, but she can't even remember what she was doing this morning, let alone right before this mess happened. ] You remember anythin'? 'Cause I don't.

Well, aye, of course I...er...

[He places his hand over his mouth for a moment, thinking.]

I...um...

[Almost automatically, he drops his hand, meaning to tap his fingers on his chest, then realizes that's probably a bad idea and winds up positioning things so he's more tapping at the side of his neck. Which is awkward, but then Kaylee won't kill him.]

I don't remember either.

Shiny.

[ Kaylee leans back against the wall, looking to put her hands in her pockets and not actually getting anywhere. Her nose scrunches up, and she takes to folding her arms over her chest. ]

Gotta be a malfunction somewhere... We can't be the only ones.

[Well, considering he does that arm folded thing a lot himself, he can't blame her for that. It's a pity he wasn't wearing the sheepskin vest today, or she wouldn't have that problem.]

Or a spell, or...aye, you're likely right. How do we figure out who else is like this, though?

[ She glances around for any others close by and shrugs. ]

I'd say keep an eye out for anybody who looks upset or uncomfortable. Could be a sure sign. [ Sure as hell felt like one. ]

[That could work, even though he's not entirely convinced that's going to work every time.]

It'd be a start, anyway. Should we look together or separately?

[ There's a small moment of silence as she mulls it over, then shakes her head. ] Be better if we stayed together, maybe. Just in case.

[What, don't you trust Jamie alone with...er, never mind.] Aye. That way if something goes wrong we'll be there to help each other. Let's try the Sensoriums first. Bound to be a few people in there, aye?

[ ...hadn't even thought of that. ] Exactly. 'Specially since we ain't necessarily used to...this.

Sensoriums'd be good, yeah. Lot of folks tend to mingle 'round there.

[Kaylee is treated to the extremely odd sight of seeing herself nod as Jamie does just that.]

Aye. Let's go, then.

[And it's off to try and find more people to either figure out a way to fix this or kill enough time for it to wear off on its own.]
