The sound of her voice does more to shock him than anything else he's run into on board this ship thus far. Hei had been searching, looking, trying desperately to find her, and here she is, standing right behind him.

He stops the urge to whirl around and instead does so carefully, so as to not whip Yin in the face with his new wings. Hei places his hands on her shoulders as soon as he's facing her though.
