if you had wings...


Don't you wish you could fly?

Uh, well...about that. Now you can! See, for some reason, Stacy / GLaDOS / a wizard thought it would a real hoot to curse (bless?) you and now you've sprouted wings! It doesn't matter if your species would look silly with wings, you're a book, you can already fly without them, or whatever else. Too bad, you're stuck with them!

- Post the wing type you got saddled with---choose one on your own, use a RNG to choose, or leave it up to your partner! Your partner can feel free to have wings too.
- Characters who already have wings can have them modified in some way: if they can only glide, they're now capable of flight, or they can spout glitter and rainbows upon flapping. OR you can add an appendage of your choice---horn? Tail? Tentacle? Go wild.
- React, laugh, and have fun!

Wing Types:
01. Fluffy Angel Wings - The typical type you probably think of when 'wings' come to mind - you're all fluffy and downy like a Cherub - not to mention...these are very sensitive to touch...
02. Black Wings - they're beautiful, but seem a little off - and they stick out like a sore thumb!
03. Filligree Wings - very slight, very delicate and very beautiful - these are like filmy gauze attached to your skin and the most managable - if you like spider webs.
04. Fairy Wings - two sets, lucky you, you look just like a butterfly, and man are they strong - but it's hard to get them all folded up right, isn't it?
05. Devil Wings - you're like some overgrown bat - maybe you should be the one avoiding public the most for now, these might poke someone in the eye!
06. Your choice! You don't have to choose any of these, as far as your imagination goes is fine. And if there's a wing type in your canon that makes more sense, go for it!

Zouichi isn't actually enjoying this very much. Sure, he can fly with these things, but they also made him a glaring target. And until he could figure out how to tuck them backward correctly, they were really just... not very aerodynamic.

Not to mention the clothing situation.

Hei's first thought is that these wings are going to force him to drastically change his fighting style. He doesn't care for flight, and what with how unwieldy and obvious they are, Hei figures they'd be more of a liability than anything else.

Tell that to Anwei, who has been blessed (or more likely cursed) with eight narrow blue wings. They flap in sync, keeping her in the air; the problem is, she can't land. As soon as she gets near the ground and tries to consciously relax, the wings flutter and lift her off.

"Excuse me, do you have any tips on getting these not to work?" she half-shouted to the green-eyed woman overhead.

Kaya is definitely NOT sure what to think about these kinds of things: seriously, she was not one of those magical girls everyone talked about. How did you manage these kinds of things?

It wouldn't be long until Billy showed up, sporting exactly the same problem. He'd had to forgo a shirt---no arrangement of hole-cutting he'd tried had seemed to work. Just to keep himself busy and learn more about this problem, he carried a sensor in one hand and a datapad in the other. If he was going to be stuck with these things for any amount of time, he should know how to operate them.

He was just rounding a bend with his scanners and books when he noticed Kaya, using a new set of wings just like his.

"It got you too?"

She'd woken up with her bunk stuffed full of blue feathers, apparently. Only when she tried to get out, and it hurt, did she get frightened.

She somehow managed to squirm her way free of the bunk, to fall like a sack of grain - and stop, hovering just over the floor with strange appendages lashing from her back in a four/four beat.

So now here's Anwei, balanced on a couch on the Obs Deck, trying to gain control of the new nervous system and the new muscles and the eight long, narrow wings sprouting from her back. Eight wings. Eight BLUE wings.

This could not be a good sign.

Splicer had been minding the DJ booth over at Hunter's Pad when he suddenly felt a rush of energy appear around him. Soon, tendrils of psionic energy formed into psionic energy wings (http://vtjuegos.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/tyrael_final_blizz.jpg) that swayed behind him.

He stretched them out a few times, getting to feel the odd sensation of the pulsing nature of the wings before wrapping them around himself and out again.

"Hm, might as well try these out. Didn't think I'd keep developing powers after the last lab checkup..."

With that, he went outside, spread his wings and easily hovered above ground. This would be fun.

Starfire happened to float up to him a short time later, slightly slower than usual. The wind resistance caused by the new, black, and fairly useless appendages attached to her back would be the cause of that.

Splicer's wings were much more fitting, she thought.

"The wing growths are spreading," Starfire said, concern in her eyes. "Are you all right?"

"W-what.... w-what is h-happening... a-ah~" a light gasp escaped Satellizer's lips as she felt a familiar feeling take over her body. She didn't remember activating Pandora mode and yet that overwhelming sensation of arousal that took over her body was too familiar.

Soon, she found herself emitting the glow that was an indicator of going into Pandora mode and soon after, the wings of light (http://i1092.photobucket.com/albums/i417/cranecha/wing.jpg) associated with her final form sprouted out as she let out another gasp, making her blush. It was always an ordeal, and she hoped no one was around to witness it.

Ronnae 'Mash Belore Ryllos

Ronnae poked at her newly sprouted red dragon wings (http://i33.tinypic.com/2ywiour.png) curiously. She'd always wondered what having them felt like. She was always too shy to ask the dragonblooded or other winged members in the family like Riwane or Aliaundra. But it definitely felt... nice. Specially the sensitive membrane at or between the joints.

She wrapped them around herself, loving the warm sensation the gave all over, blushing a bit at how silly it might seem to get enjoyment out of something so simple as feeling the hug from the wings themselves.

Has Billy suddenly sprouted a hunchback? Not quite, but the large black coat he's stuffed himself into sure gives that impression. He's finally gotten back home after a long and painful day of wing-hiding, very surprised to see that they both had the same issue.

She definitely looked happier than he did, though. He walked over, tentatively brushing her back just above where the wing joined it.

"Ronnie? Looks like you've got quite the surprise there."
