She sighed, looking out. "It's been sort of a funny feeling I guess. When I went out on my own, I didn't need anything but the wind in my hair and earth under my feet: or sand or ice, depending on the terrain. Overtime though, I guess I hoped I'd find that person who would love me and watch over me and all. But if that can't happen, not now, I can be alone."
It was fine, really. A friend like Nokosi was still a good thing.
