So! Al has a problem and I'm sure many of you share the same problem.

So many muses to pick from, only one spot to app with!

"Oh? Then why aren't you rusted?"

Yeah. That's right. Try worming your way out of that airtight logic, buster!

Riwane blinked and laughed a little, placing her hands on her hips.

"What this? Ah learned it frum the academy Ah went to. It's a speshul TM."

She grinned and gave him a thumbs up.

"It's ratha fun actually. Ah nevah thought being a human would be such a blast an' all that~"

"You do know you're incredibly rude, don't you?" Marie says, staring right back and why yes indeed this looks like it's going to be a staring contest.

Why does Marie get the feeling she might lose a staring contest?

There is a pony in the Media Library. A blue, winged, horned pony staring curiously at the floating (wait, floating?) tablet in front of her.

When she was welcomed back to the palace in Canterlot after being freed - and shortly after defeated by her sister's mentor and her friends - the first thing she did was head to the library. She had a thousand years of history and culture to catch up on, after all, and honestly? She enjoyed it. The royal library was a quiet place, visited by not nearly as many ponies as the other areas of the castle on most days, making it a good place to help get her used to being around the company of others again. So what better way to learn about this strange place she had been brought to, filled with strange creatures she didn't know existed, than to read about it?

She wasn't expecting anything like this, though. Where were all the books? What were all these... strange mirror things?

Another girl who loved reading happened to be nearby with the strange mirror thing in her hand lightly touching it, not yet aware of the newcomer. She looks...different. But maybe she'll be helpful.

"A special TM?" James confusion and fear was washed away by something potentially interesting, "So...what are you normally?" His first thought was of Dittos. They were particularly skilled after all...

She blinked a few times and laughed, "A Charmander o' course. Didn't ya see me when Ah came upon ya guys? Or did ya furgit already?"

A wide smirk on her lips, friendly still, but she thought this bunch was silly.

"A charmander that can turn human..." It seemed impossible to imagine but here she was.

I wonder what we'd look like as human. Wheezing mused and Growlith nodded also curious. James of coarse couldn't understand them and went on.

"Where was this place?" If he ever got his world back and Jessie and Meowth and he stole that TM, they would be promoted so fast their heads would spin!

Alanna was more then happy to drop the formal speak. It had its uses, but she generally preferred to simply be herself. Although still irritated by Rosethorn's attitude, she had a better grip on herself now. "I don't know. I suppose no one given the shape that they're in," she answered stiffly, her eyes drifting back to the plants. While she was saddened to see the plants in such a pitiful state, Alanna was still confused by the older woman's anger. It was a pity certainly that the plants had withered so, but the reaction seemed to be overdone.

She shrugged. "I doubt that anyone would be terribly put off if you wanted to care for them yourself. Some extra work should bring them back I'd think." Not that Alanna knew much of taking care of plants. Neither her training as a knight nor her training in magic had ever required her to learn about caring for plants. Still, if you want something done, then you should do it yourself. If Rosethorn was so disturbed by the plants' condition, it was better that she take action rather then complain about it. Alanna had met too many people who blustered, but did nothing and she had very little patience for it.

...that was a good question, actually. Cheetor looks baffled for a moment, then just shrugs. "I... Honestly don't know that one, lady. Granted, I'm not questioning it, 'cause that stuff's really itchy. Last thing I want is a rust rash."

"It's called Smash Academy, o'er at Final Destination City. It's pretty neat actually. Ah was jus' gettin' used ta tha place 'fore Ah ended up here... Now Ah'm tryin' ta find a way back."

She missed her friends... Sonny, Sasha, Char, Midna... Jon.... She missed him the most of course...

"I reckon she can," Applejack answered with a little whoop, gently setting down her basket of apples in the designated spot. "Just keep an eye out for the critters, they like to get underfoot."

"Smash Academy...Final Destination City." He rubbed his chin and seemed confused, "I've never heard of those places before...but if they exist we can find them!"

Wheezing and Growlith cheered at James switch in moods.

"For now though, we should catch this very rare Charmander! Wheezing smokescreen!"

Wheezing began pouring smoke from his mouth filling the surrounding area.

"Now wait jus' a gosh darn minute 'ere, this ain't the place ta start fightin' yanno!"

Riwane jumped back and did a quick spin, her tail setting the surrounding area as she skillfully placed a static Fire Spin on the ground around her to protect her. A tall wall of fire now surrounding her as she glared at them.

"Glad that Stacy thing managed to save my cape and sword then," grumbled Kamina, ducking his head back into the cockpit -- and slamming it against the wall in surprise as he ducked back out.

"VIRAL!? What the hell was VIRAL doing in MY GURREN?! SIMON WHAT THE... I DON'T EVEN... HUH?!"

Simon chuckled awkwardly at the comment regarding the sword and cape, then sighed when Kamina wigged out. "We were facing the end of the world - literally, and I needed a second pilot. Rossiu had taken off to do his own thing, and everyone else had their own Gunmen. He was willing to lend a hand to fight the Anti-Spirals, so I figured why not? And on the off-chance he was to turn on us, he'd be close by."

"Ugh. I hope he didn't shed in here or something," groused Kamina, going back in. He really had no energy to being over the top at the moment, and really, this whole situation was one big facepalm after another.

"Wait, Yoko piloted Gurren?"

"Etiquette is not required to fulfill my primary function," said KOS-MOS. Staaaare.

"However, if you have any complaints, you may submit them to Vector Industries."

"Do you feel that your assessment is in doubt?" KOS-MOS didn't seem too worried about the mallet, but then, she didn't seem too worried about anything.

That got another laugh out of Simon. "I don't know if Beastmen shed, bro."

After moving around to Lagann's side, Boota popped up from the seat area, looking victorious in his quest - and quite dusty. The pigmole coughed a bit, but gave Simon his best approximation of a thumbs-up. "Good job, Boota - thanks."

The question made him pause and think. "Yeah, once, during a fight with one of the other Generals..."

"Huh. So she had enough Fighting Spirit for it. That's actually kinda nice to hear..." He trailed off in thought. The last time he saw Yoko she was... well, yeah.

"Sorry I don't have much energy, Simon. I'm just tired for one reason or another." Having come out weak as a kitten was definitely a downside for this whole podding thing. He didn't even have the energy to tell at times.

"Yeah - she took over Dayakka's later on, since he moved to command the Dai-Gurren."

Boota took up his usual place on Simon's shoulder, and Simon climbed into Lagann, kicking back in it. "Well, I think you earned the right to be tired," he answered, tone a bit solemn.

"It's not going to be much of a fight. You're as good as Team Rocket property! Growlie! Bring her back!"

The Fire dog howled with delight and shot through the flames attempting to chomp down on the tail with his powerful adorable jaws.

"Yer in fer a big surprise if ya think yer havin' it easy, let alone win."

A fire type, she grinned, as if she didn't have tricks up her sleeve for her kin.

"Have a taste of sumtin' different pup'!" She spun, pulling her tail out of harms way and took a deep breath, soon letting forth a torrent of blue flames that wasn't fire at all! DRAGON RAGE!

"Ah, I'm sorry ter hear it," Hagrid sighed. This ship wasn't kind to keeping people together. Snatches 'em all up and separates then like it's nothing at all.

"I'm new 'round here meself. I've met a few friends, but we're all more 'n lost. I'll hope yers decide to show."
