Does this count as a Meme? Probably not but who cares!?

Indecisive Meme!

So! Al has a problem and I'm sure many of you share the same problem.

So many muses to pick from, only one spot to app with!

And so here's the game

1. Post with a muse you have that you've been curious about bringing to Trans, maybe set up a scene if you feel perky.
2. Get tags from the current muses of Trans_9!
3. Or get tags from muses who will be joining Trans_9 soon!
4. Or maybe tag around with your potential muse in other musethreads.
5. ???
6. Cake!
7.There is no cake

Wonderfully so!

"Thanks," Rick answers, ejecting the empty clip and replacing it with a full one. Handy thing about this place, he can just imagine up new ammunition. (How he managed to get that clip in with just one hand is a mystery.) Once it's loaded in, he turns to see who was talking to him - and promptly stumbles away from Karis. Since when could walkers talk?!

"...the fuck are you?!"

"Hmph. I don't blame him - the pretend-sun is a little more convincing, there." She glanced around at the plants in the room. "This is as bad as Crane's greenhouse."

John kept his hands up in what he hoped counted as a universal "I surrender" to a Sebacean with a bigass cannon.

"Okay, so no go on those. Could I put my hands down? Look, let's start from the beginning: I'm John." He figured if she hadn't shot him yet, she probably didn't know about the bounties, so...well, yeah. Seemed promising. "What's your name?"

He found himself eyeing that cannon, hoping she didn't slip or decide her arms were getting tired. Where she could even stash that thing was beyond him and he tried to resist glancing around at the garage while she was pointing a gun at his face.

Aldray was set to ignore his sword, but the second voice caused him to turn around - he's got an awkward look on his face once he sees what was addressing him.

"I...ah..." He pauses, wondering how to word this. "...you're talking to me, so you're not mindless. And if my world is destroyed, you're not being controlled by Beyondus..."

The voice at his hip opens up again. "C'mon, hurry up and put two and two together! She's not evil! Sure are getting your investment's worth with me with how much you actually use me for things that aren't hitting monsters..."

"Dr. K," she replied before deciding to lower the cannon. He didn't pose as a threat to her yet, so maybe he was trustworthy. But, still - she was going to keep her guard up nonetheless.

Though, she was still going to be wary of this John. As far as she knew, he could be a threat to her. At his question, she did nod, her expression tight and firm. It was obvious that she didn't trust him yet.

Oh, my. That's a lot of heat, James. "Team Rocket?" Nuon scoffed. "What a ridiculous name. And shouldn't you have a jetpack or something? I don't see any rockets."

[identity profile] teethofneedles.livejournal.com 2011-09-20 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"Zombie," Karis replies flippantly. She's either used to the reaction or doesn't care. She eyes him for a minute. "...don't know how the hell you fight with only one hand."

[identity profile] icanhashat.livejournal.com 2011-09-20 08:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Jayne shrugged, "Been an awful long time, and we've seen everyone else. If Stacy has em woulda figured she'd have let em out before you. Crazy Sister and Zoe would be a hell of a lot more useful in a fight then you. We got plenty of medics now."

Good to see you Simon, glad your not dead! Wish you were someone else!

RIDICULOUS!?! HOW DARE HE!?

"We don't need jetpacks!!!" He flailed "We're Team Rocket because we're "Blasting off at the Speed of light!" and "Extending our reach to the stars above!"

"TEAM ROCK-.."Ash shouted and pointed, ready to send Pikachu out to fill the group with 1.21 gigawatts of electricity, blinking when he realized two members were missing. "...oh wait, it just one of you."

Nuon scoffed. "How, exactly, are you blasting off? Much less reaching the stars? You seem like a rather terrestrial being to me. Incapable of spaceflight."

Um, Nuon was taking this kind of literally.

"In any case, refrain from using our motto, please."

Cheetor had a faint, bemused smile on as he nodded at Hagrid. "Not your fault, but the sentiment's appreciated. I wish you the same luck."

Heh. There's that same old bullheaded Kamina. Not even death got him to learn, it seems. Troublesome as it was, there was a small degree of comfort in being around that stubbornness again. And in finding ways to go around it... "I dunno, bro - it might shame them more if you forgot about the nap and went in half-cocked. A member of Team Dai-Gurren should always operate at their peak, right?"

"Works on more than Gurren and Lagann, too, actually..."

There was another doctor in the house - one who paused at the Ranger suit display with hands in his pockets.

"So this is one of the groups that followed us..."

"...that's not important - what's important is how the hell you're a talking walker. And why you're not trying to devour me."

He'll be aiming that gun right at you now, Karis. Rick's a good guy, honest!

"The TWERP!?!" James cried out in a mix of shock, frustration and anguish. "I can't get Jessie or Meowth but YOU'RE here?!" He groaned and pulled on his own hair trying to hold back a torrent of internal conflict.

"It's OUR Motto!" James protested loudly, "What sort of a name is Team Neutro anyway? Neutro sounds like a floor cleaner!" James blazed his eyes narrowed like lasers piercing into Nuon.
thewunderkind: (Angry - YOU. CRUSH. NOW.)

[personal profile] thewunderkind 2011-09-21 07:39 pm (UTC)(link)
"YOU DARE CALL THE TEAM NEUTRO NAME A FLOOR CLEANING?"

Oh look, it was Lady Neutro™ herself, appearing behind James in full outfit, looking like she was ready to punch someone's R off their shirt.

"The plants don't like it?" Alanna watched Rosethorn uncertainly, thrown by the woman's phrasing. It wasn't as though she'd never heard something similar said before, but usually it was said in jest or at least not generally said in a terribly serious manner. This woman sounded very serious. "I suppose they'll have to make due. There don't seem to be too many options around here."

(OOC: I'm so sorry for the wait. If you don't want to take this further, we can let it drop, but I don't mind playing this out further if you want to do so.)

[identity profile] thornymage.livejournal.com 2011-09-22 08:45 am (UTC)(link)
Rosethorn was far more used to this sort of conversation than she would prefer to be - when she had to have it with other plant mages, well. That was a sorry state of affairs to say the least.

"They may not think the same way we do, but plants have their own sort of feelings. Growing them out of seasons is like... oh, taking someone who's used to waking at dawn and making them stay up through the night instead."

[OOC: No worries! I could use the practice with her :)]

[identity profile] lionesschampion.livejournal.com 2011-09-23 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
Alanna frowned, watching Rosethorn carefully and trying to weigh the claims that she was making. Could the other woman really understand plants as she seemed to be indicating? How? Could it be magic of some sort? That might explain the other woman's manner of dress some, she supposed. Mages often wore robes in her experience, although the ones that Rosethorn wore were unfamiliar to her. Still, magic with plants? She hadn't heard of such a thing before this. Then again, she'd be the first to acknowledge that she there were a number of different types of magic. The Gift and the ancient magic of the Bazhir were only two examples of many.

"You're saying that you can understand plants?" she asked curiously, seeking confirmation. "How? Is it magic?"

(OOC: Thank you. I'm glad. :) I could use the practice with Alanna too. I need to work on her voice more.)

[identity profile] thornymage.livejournal.com 2011-09-23 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
A short, sharp nod in return. "Ambient plant mages aren't the most common breed, but there's enough of us around." A simple enough explanation - though she could feel little tendrils of...something radiating off the woman, now that she was paying attention. Not university-magic, but... like it, maybe.

[identity profile] lionesschampion.livejournal.com 2011-09-24 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Ambient plant magic? It wasn't something that she'd ever head of before, but she didn't doubt the woman. Rosethorn's attitude seemed straightforward enough and that Alanna liked about her, even if the mage's rough tone still made her bristle a bit. No games. It was something that she appreciated.

She'd always been more interested in the fighting arts then magic and that still remained true, even though she was much more comfortable with magic now then she had been when she'd been a girl. But, she enjoyed leaning new things. Only a fool chooses ignorance over knowledge. "I've never heard of ambient magic before," she commented, meeting Rosethorn's gaze. "May I ask how it works?"

[identity profile] thornymage.livejournal.com 2011-09-26 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
Rosethorn raised a skeptical eyebrow - but things were odd enough around this place that she was willing to let a little slide.

"Our magic works through something - usually a craft of some sort. Metalworking, textiles, cooking, the like."
