Does this count as a Meme? Probably not but who cares!?

Indecisive Meme!

So! Al has a problem and I'm sure many of you share the same problem.

So many muses to pick from, only one spot to app with!

And so here's the game

1. Post with a muse you have that you've been curious about bringing to Trans, maybe set up a scene if you feel perky.
2. Get tags from the current muses of Trans_9!
3. Or get tags from muses who will be joining Trans_9 soon!
4. Or maybe tag around with your potential muse in other musethreads.
5. ???
6. Cake!
7.There is no cake

Alanna frowned, watching Rosethorn carefully and trying to weigh the claims that she was making. Could the other woman really understand plants as she seemed to be indicating? How? Could it be magic of some sort? That might explain the other woman's manner of dress some, she supposed. Mages often wore robes in her experience, although the ones that Rosethorn wore were unfamiliar to her. Still, magic with plants? She hadn't heard of such a thing before this. Then again, she'd be the first to acknowledge that she there were a number of different types of magic. The Gift and the ancient magic of the Bazhir were only two examples of many.

"You're saying that you can understand plants?" she asked curiously, seeking confirmation. "How? Is it magic?"

(OOC: Thank you. I'm glad. :) I could use the practice with Alanna too. I need to work on her voice more.)

A short, sharp nod in return. "Ambient plant mages aren't the most common breed, but there's enough of us around." A simple enough explanation - though she could feel little tendrils of...something radiating off the woman, now that she was paying attention. Not university-magic, but... like it, maybe.

Ambient plant magic? It wasn't something that she'd ever head of before, but she didn't doubt the woman. Rosethorn's attitude seemed straightforward enough and that Alanna liked about her, even if the mage's rough tone still made her bristle a bit. No games. It was something that she appreciated.

She'd always been more interested in the fighting arts then magic and that still remained true, even though she was much more comfortable with magic now then she had been when she'd been a girl. But, she enjoyed leaning new things. Only a fool chooses ignorance over knowledge. "I've never heard of ambient magic before," she commented, meeting Rosethorn's gaze. "May I ask how it works?"

Rosethorn raised a skeptical eyebrow - but things were odd enough around this place that she was willing to let a little slide.

"Our magic works through something - usually a craft of some sort. Metalworking, textiles, cooking, the like."
