VOICE TESTING POST

||Welcome to the Transmigration 9. Actually, welcome to this simulation of the Transmigration 9,|| a voice says from somewhere in the darkness around you. ||It is necessary for beings in stasis to receive occasional cognitive stimulation to prevent the onset of a vegetative state. This simulation should keep your minds within acceptable limits of atrophy until you are needed.||

The voice doesn't seem to be concerned about you at all, though. ||You may notice that your mental projection of yourself may seem sluggish, but we of the Transmigration 9 can assure you that this is just a reflection of how you always are. It has just been a while, so you don't remember.||

||You will soon find yourself on a copy of the Observation Deck, surrounded by other beings from the stasis pods. You are advised not to maim or kill other inactive crew members, as the effect of damage to mental projections on the body is not being studied at this time. Your dedication to experimentation is, however, admirable for considering such a thing.||

And then you are here.

[OOC: Feel free to tag this with anybody, from actual crewmembers to potential apps to people you aren't really considering but just want to play around with anyway. Anything helps when it comes to voicetesting! Consider actual crew members just part of the simulation.]

Even if Amaterasu were able to communicate 'spaceship', she'd likely have little luck. Rabbits understand sky, but not space. The idea that the sky is three-dimensional is beyond them, and certainly beyond a rather close-minded bunny like Bigwig.

"Where are you off to?" He jumps along behind Amaterasu.

Ammy came to what appeared to be an exit out of the Obs Deck, though it was sealed. Gathering herself up, she bounded into it, planning to smash it open. Unfortunately, nothing happened. Not even a budge.

"You'll break your neck like that," Bigwig chides, although he approaches the exit too and begins to try and dig his way under. The deck is slick under his claws and he does little damage to it.

Prime candidate for repetitive stress injury, that was Ammy. Still, obviously this wasn't working. She backed up a distance, then barked twice at Bigwig, looking at him as if expecting him to follow.

Bigwig stands bolt upright on his fours and runs in a panicked circle at Amaterasu's bark, out of instinct more than any legitimate fear of her. Once he's wrestled his flight impulse under control, he hops up to her, ears turned outwards in a signal of irritation. "Could you not? Just because you aren't deadly at the moment doesn't mean you aren't elil."

He does follow her, though, if huffily.

Oh, right. Bunny rabbit. In any case, Ammy wagged her tail as if to signify that she understood, leaning back on her haunches to concentrate on their current obstacle.

The door was suddenly and inexplicably encrusted with ice that seemed to materialize out of nowhere... but quickly melted away, leaving only a few stray snowflakes fluttering through the air.

Well, sheesh. What was this thing made of?

Bigwig bolts again, though only a few yards away. "Embleer frith. What sort of mad beast are you, Dog?"

Ammy gave him a perfect baroo? face, cocking her head at him. Hey, she didn't even use some of her flashier abilities!

Oh, well. If she couldn't figure a way out of here, and there wasn't any danger around, there was only one thing to do. Ammy curled up on the ground, putting her head on her front paws.

"You can't be serious. That's what it takes you to give up?" Bigwig harrumphs and thumps his back feet against the sealed exit. "Well, you get your rest, then. I'll be over here trying to do the reasonable thing and break out."

He continues to claw, futilely, at the door.

Can't solve problems when you're sleepy, Bigwig. Ammy yawned widely, then closed her eyes.

Zzzzz...
