Let's pop this crack comm's dreamwidth cherry, random style!

Oh, he's over there. He ain't too bright though--I ran under him and he still hasn't found me yet.

[Billy rolls over a tusk, then dodges another---hey, it's kind of fun.]

...is he just playing?

[Allenby hops onto a tusk and looks into its eyes.]

Nooo, I think he's serious. [JUMPING OFF AGAIN as the thing tosses its head] We better stop him before he goes nuts in the city!

[And he dodges, narrowly missing an impaling.]

You're right! It was a trap. Ha!

[He shoots with the blaster, going for a stun before he tries pinning it down.]

Nice move! [Mammoths are a bit big to be fully stunned by a blaster, but Allenby likes the spirit and gives Billy a thumbs-up before proceeding to jump back up and stomp on its head. Repeatedly.]

[She's right. He dodges another nasty attack, switching to using his lance as a blunt weapon. It makes a noise of protest.]

Did you hear that? It was strangely cute.

Cute, but don't underestimate it! [She jumps high into the air to avoid being thrown aside.] It's obviously just a distraction!

Got it!

[He's whacked, pinned to the ground by another tusk. Why do its eyes look so innocent and sad?]

...Maybe we shouldn't hurt it so much.
