[Kang just quirks an eyebrow and crosses his arms over his chest.]

[Apparently there's a dragon flying over head, perhaps just part of her daily routine but given the dragon in question she spots the human looking Kang and gives a wave his way]

[Kang acknowledges Celena with a wave of his own, but makes no indication of the fact that he wants to speak with the dragon other than a slight tilt of his head towards the building he's currently heading for. He knows she'll see it.]

[The slightest dip of her head is given in acknowledgment, for one such as she that slight indication was all that was needed. To ensure that no one watching would think anything of it she continued her flight away for a moment before circling around in a seeming natural continuation of her flight before lowering altitude and gracefully landing behind the building that Kang had indicated]

[He'd already checked for bugs, mechanical or magical, and it was an area of the city that didn't get much traffic. It takes him a few minutes to get there, and he leaves the door open behind him for Celena before finding a support beam to lean against with a sigh.]

[After a moment to make sure no one was watching she spoke the command words for the ring she had received from Aibghalien some time passed, walking quickly around to the front of the building before gracefully slipping within the open door, closing the door behind her before approaching with a far more serious expression than usual]

I hope you had better luck than I did getting information out of our temporary guests. I couldn't get one straight answer out of them.

[He hates being stuck in this body, but until they find out what's causing the random species change of some of the crew and how to fix it (that seemed to happen right around the time said guests had shown up), he's stuck.]

Some luck, not much but some. They may not ones to deal in straight answers but neither do I deal only straight questions.

This..problem they appear to believe at least from what I have pieced together is a..unexpected side effect of something else that has come from what ever their goal happens to be aboard, but one that they concerns the higher ups little.

[she shakes her head and wanders over to a nearby pillar to lean back lightly against it]

At least one seems to be looking into the problem though.

And their goal? Is it something malicious, or do they just not think this 'side effect' is worth caring about?

As far as they believe, their goal is not a malicious one. Whether they think it for the greater benefit of themselves or the greater 'community' is hard to say. I believe whatever the goal is they merely find completing it far more of an imperative than 'fixing' the side effect it has caused.

Do they at least have the intention of fixing it at some point? Sooner rather than later, I hope.

It would appear that way.

The higher ups I cannot say for sure, a number of their technical personal however I managed to convince to at least look into the problem at hand. So hopefully something will come of that.
