It's like one of those not-really-thought-out things a comicmovie writer would do and hope people don't notice.

How often do you get the chance to freak people out by reminding them you're not actually wearing anything?

Or one of those things that a writer would do to make a character "sexier" to humanoids. I've seen that happen in older works, and it exasperates me to no end!

Hmm, people don't seem to think my lack of clothes unless I'm projecting an illusion of wearing them to begin with. I haven't really done that on this ship yet; and the UP has a wide range of social mores when it comes to nudity, so nobody particularly cared about what I was wearing there either.

Except for my hats. Everyone agreed that they were snazzy.

And you're lucky. The only reason I'm wearing anything is because I'm sure the Humans would complain. It's just so hot around here all the time...

I'm more with the jewelry kind of thing. Especially handmade arty stuff.

You have my sympathies. Could you perhaps modify your plantsuit to something more comfortable for you?

I haven't really had the opportunity to try jewelry, actually. Hats were really the only thing I could wear as an Orandian. Hmm...

Actually, I'm sticking with this dress thing I made out of a window curtain from the city. Those suits creep me out.

There's plenty that's possible, even without getting into the cliche stuff like piercings.

I can certainly understand that! Brainy found out that the Sensoriums actually do a wonderful job of duplicating the sonic showers he and I use, which do a much better job at cleaning than the tentacles in the clothing room do.

Yes, there certainly is. Prior lack of limbs made jewelry difficult, though.
