I started to realize that I was tough enough that I didn't have to play at it all the time.

I have a friend who does that. It was a lot to get used to at first, since we were so different, but now I like that we are and are still friends.

Hopefully she sooner or later understands, or somebody helps her understand, that trying to impress other people all the time isn't something you have to do to be respected. Sometimes, sure, but not all the time.

Oh, I don't think it has anything to do with that. She actually had a power lady upbringing. She prefers to be a tomboy, go in the dirt and fight people. She's an Earthbender- she's pretty stubborn that way.

Oh, we've gone to a spa before. She does it occassionally. Not often though.

I think so. She can't see for herself though. She's blind. Like, literally.

She does get down on herself for it. Like I said, her other senses are heightened.
