Snake in the Rose Garden

Snake had no clue how he got on the ship, but oh well, he'd run with it. The place certainly made a perfect replica of Bridge of Eldin, at least. The Smasher stood with his arms crossed against the perpetual sunset, staring across the battlefield. All in all, he figured he was cutting quite the dramatic appearance. All that remained for him was to wait for Ravager, and their fight could get underway.

"You sure you're up for this?"

Rose was so SO looking forward to this. Being on this damn ship left her frustratingly short of the opportunity to kick the crap out of somebody which was the sort of itch she was used to scratching on a near to daily basis when she'd been with the titans (and even when she HADN'T which probably said something about her that she had no interest in hearing).

She eyed Snake curiously, keeping her swords in her holsters for now.

"Bring it on," Snake replied, only the barest hint of a smirk teasing his lips. He hadn't had a decent fight since Tabuu, and he was feeling understandably bored as well from the lack of action. So when he reached to one side and pulled a grenade from seeming hammerspace, he knew it was on.

Rose had the swords out before he'd gotten his fingers fully around the grenade, dodging his first toss with ease and charging in fast to try to strike the open target of his side?

Snake noted the swords. Two of them, just like Pit. He idly wondered if she could form an energy bow with them, too, but with the swords closing in, he had to do something to stop them. He crouched down, crossing his arms, and any impact Rose might have made with the swords would be surprisingly halted by a large red bubble of some kind. Of course it shrank a bit over time and with each passing blow, but Snake only needed it for a moment.
