THE DATING SIM MEME

Each thread-starter is the protagonist of their thread.
Each responder should supply a list of four options for them to choose from
Two of us will supply an example or something
Alternatively, just post four options and see who responds!
YAAAAAAAAAY

Don't blame me for the picture it just came with the meme, okay?

[Manly training session of manliness goes here!

Okay so really she's just kind of putzing around with a staff. No big.]

You're not bad. Want someone to train with?

>[Glare suspiciously - he's pretty shady-looking, after all.]
>[Greet him pleasantly and invite him to join in.]
>[Invite him to join in by ATTACKING!]
>[Stick it in]

[Glare suspiciously - he's pretty shady-looking, after all.]

Thanks for the offer, but I already have someone to train with. My fiancee will be along shortly.

*gotta be careful of the mens when you're openly being a girl again!*

[identity profile] venominsilicon.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
That's too bad, then - looks like there's a few things you could teach me.

>[Relent despite your gut instincts]
>[Ask him who he is, anyway]
>[Tell him to bugger off]
>[Suggest a three-way]

[Relent despite your gut instincts]

*smug grin*

I am no more than a grain of rice in a glorious army, but . . . I am not too humble to say I make my commander proud.

[Watches politely so as not to disturb!]

>[Remain oblivious]
>[Notice and greet]
>[Notice and freak out]
>[Notice and make out with]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
[Notice and freak out]

A foreign devil!

*see icon*

[identity profile] hatngartersnake.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 07:48 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh great.]

I'm sorry, I didn't want to disturb you. I...oh, what's the old saying? Ah yes, I come in peace.

>[Continue freaking out]
>[Come out of hiding]
>[Attack!]
>[WTF]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[Come out of hiding]

Really? Are you a spirit?

[identity profile] hatngartersnake.livejournal.com 2009-11-20 03:20 am (UTC)(link)
No, I'm an Orandian. Have humans discovered space travel when you're from?

>[Orandian?]
>[Space travel?]
>[WHEN I'm from?]
>[Two or more of the above]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-20 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
Space travel?! WHEN I'm from?!

[identity profile] hatngartersnake.livejournal.com 2009-11-20 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
That answers my question, I suppose.

When I'm from, humans have developed the technology to travel to the stars and encounter other sentient species. My people were one of them, and we've since formed alliances and joined together with more species to form a governmental body called the United Planets.

>[Whut. No, seriously, whut]
>[Disbelieve the illusion]
>[Ask more questions]
>[Stare at. Lots.]

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
COOL! My friend Robin uses a staff like that! Are you a superhero too? What's your name? Do you know Batman?

>[What?]
>[Who?]
>[Slow down!]
>[Attempt to whack the speedster with your staff!]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 07:44 am (UTC)(link)
[Slow down!]

What was that?!

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
I'm Impulse, who are you?

>[Mulan]
>[Ping]
>[STALL FOR TIME]
>[Impulse is a weird name.]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[Impulse is a weird name.]

That's . . . an unusual name. How did you get it?

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Cause I'm a superhero! Fastest kid alive!

>[A what?]
>[That doesn't explain anything.]
>[You're awfully excitable.]
>[How fast are you?]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
[How fast are you?]

Really? The fastest? How fast?

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
You know how fast light moves?

...well, not quite that fast. But close! And I bet if I really pushed I could go that fast, but I might end up going into the speed force and never coming back or bouncing off on it and ending up in the future or something.

>[Slow down, what?]
>[...that's impossible.]
>[What's the speed force?]
>[How fast does light move?]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Slow down, what?]

Are you sure we're speaking the same language?

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
It sounds like it. Do you prefer English or Interlac? I can learn other languages really fast if you want. Plus, there's automatic translation stuff. Legion technology. The Legion's pretty cool, you know?

>[I am so lost.]
>[That's fascinating, tell me more.]
>[Interlac? Legion?]
>[Seriously, what?]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
[I am so lost.]

Yeah, uhhhh . . . can you try Chinese?

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-18 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
[In Chinese] I can try! Is this potato? I read a book on the iron donkey of lust, but sometimes things get eaten by translators.

>[Go back to English.]
>[Still lost.]
>[You're a little young to talk about the iron donkey of lust.]
>[Let me help you learn the language!]

[identity profile] sent-herself.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
[You're a little young to talk about the iron donkey of lust.]>

I think you mean . . . something entirely different.

Maaaaaybe you should go back to . . . whatever language you were speaking before.

[identity profile] speedforbrains.livejournal.com 2009-11-19 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Peanut butter! [Goes back to English] I guess I didn't do it too well? Learning languages from books is always kinda tricky.

>[No kidding.]
>[Your accent was terrible too.]
>[Attempt subject change.]
>[Introduce yourself!]
